I went to Dr. Cecere for a nightguard as I have had years of TMJ and have worn a nightguard for years. I work in the dental field, so had brought recent x-rays. The assistant said I needed new ones, so I asked her to verify with Dr. Cecere that additional
x-rays were needed prior to taking more. She came back and said Dr. Cecere did need them and proceeded to take them. They were ruined in the processor and when she came in the room to tell him we needed to retake them, he said don't worry about them, we don't need them. (She probably never asked.) Dr. Cecere made minor adjustments to my nightguard. I returned a few weeks later as the bite was not right. He adjusted it again, this time he adjusted right through the nightguard. I questioned him about the holes in the nightguard, he said it was fine. For that follow up appointment, my insurance was charged $300.00. I never returned to him again. I have since tried another dentist with more success.
