I had an extraction done by Dr. Schmitz last year. He placed bone in the socket and let it heal. This summer he placed a dental implant into that site and I just had my crown made by my regular dentist. The extraction and implant were both done under sedation--what a great experience! I would definitely recommend getting oral surgery with Dr. Schmitz. He is a provider for my insurance so my cost was a lot less than with a non-participating provider.
