Due to scarring to my mouth, my bottom teeth were drifting out severely to the point where I could stick my tongue right through between my top and bottom teeth. Dr. Bergh assured me during my consult he'd be able to get my teeth back in alignment with minimal amount of pain and discomfort, and he did just that. I'd heard horror stories from people who'd had orthodontics work done -- what an ordeal it was, how they were in so much pain they could not eat, etc. That was not a problem for me; I only experienced some mild discomfort early on when the wires were tightened (I had old fashioned braces, not the newer Invisalign). Pretty amazing, considering how far my teeth had to move. I suspect those other orthodontists did not want to take the time and rushed it.
If you've checked out Dr. Bergh's credentials, you know that he's an assoc. prof at USC dentistry school. He's very knowledgeable and professional. He's also a kindly and soft-spoken man with one of the best bedside manners you'll ever see. His staff are always courteous, friendly, and professional. His office is also very nicely decorated and well equipped, w/ computer terminal and flat panel TV at every station. Very happy w/ Dr Bergh. Highest recommendation!
