I have taken my daughter to Dr. Childers for 2 years now. He and his staff are so great with children! My daughter was not near as scared once they explained everthing of what they were going to do.

My son has been a patient of Dr. Childer's since he was 2 1/2 years old. He is an excellent doctor, always makes his patients feel comfortable. My son actually enjoys his visits w/Dr. Childers.

My children have been going to Dr. Childers since 2001, they are very thorough, great with my kids and they explain everything in full detail. The billing staff is great, the Dr's are just wonderful and EVERY other dentist and orthodontist I have spoken with has nothing but GREAT things to say about Dr. Childers. I would recommend them to everyone I meet. I recently moved 40 minutes away and I still drive my children to see them.

I've been going to this office since I was six. They specialize in dentistry for children, but now as an adult, they still do a great job. There is a play area for kids, they are treated very gently and there is even a toy bin for them to choose an item from. I've had no problems with the staff and they've always been very friendly.

I have not had good experiences with this dentist office. The dental work and recommendations are fine. However, the customer service, billing, and insurance knowledge of the office staff leave a lot to be desired when searching for good dental care. Our family has been to this office three times. The first time was ok. The second time, they performed services beyond what my dental insurance allows without my authorizaion then billed me for the amount not covered under insurance. In addition to this, they also charged for the wrong services when they billed the insurance company, causing a portion of the claim to be denied. They billed my daughter as a new patient (a higher cost) although she had been seen there before. The last (and final) time, I have been charged AGAIN for an amount not covered by insurance due to ANOTHER error in their billing. I still have to sort out the details and find out why my daughter's bill is higher than my son's when they were both seen for the exact same service on the same day. I feel it is the responsibility of the medical staff to know the benefits covered on insurance and how to bill the insurance company. I am finding a new dentist for my family asap!
