Wouldn't go anywhere else. He really cares about my comfort and my satisfaction. If I don't like something (the color of a crown, for example), he has no problem sending it back -- he wants me to be happy with the end result. I trust his work completely. I've been seeing him for more than 10 years, and his work has never needed re-doing. His dental assistants and hygienist are AWESOME.

About Hygienist: Christy is fantastic! Love her!!

My estimated treatment plan kept changing. Was told I needed 2 root canals, but while the dentist was in my mouth started doing a 3rd that we hadn't discussed. I was then scheduled for a cleaning and was told at that appt. I needed a very expensive and painful cleaning called a "scaling". My husbands cousin, who is a dentist but not on my dental plan and lives an hour away could not believe it. He said "scaling" is a drastic procedure done only when moderate to advanced peridontal disease is present. He said since my gums don't bleed when I brush, there is no way I needed that. After the fact, I read 6 other reviews in which patients were unnecessarily told they needed "scaling". FYI, scaling costs around 1200.00 as opposed to a minimal charge for a regular cleaning!

About Hygienist: snooty!

My teeth have SEEN IT ALL, and I wouldn't trust them to anyone else in Atlanta. I inherited Dr. Ali Harandi when my dental plan sent me to his practice. I didn't know what I was going to find there. I am completely 100% satisfied. He is busy, and there's a reason for that. He knows what he's doing. He isn't satisfied unless I am. When I am there, we are a team. I have had cavities filled, my teeth cleaned, I've had root canals, crowns, a dental implant. My teeth and my mouth are in great shape now. His staff -- front office and back -- is fantastic, professional, caring, competent, the best.

About Hygienist: I see Elaine at Dr. Harandi's office, and my daughter sees Kristy. Both are superb hygienists, extremely thorough. Extremely satisfied.

I read reviews stating this office told everyone they needed "deep cleaning/scaling". They told me the same thing, entire mouth. They did not explain an optional mouth rinse they used for a debridement that cost me $85, not covered by insurance. I was sent out to consult for an implant, and the periodontist said I did not need deep cleaning, "maybe" one or 2 teeth "could" use it, but he said it was obvious I took care of my teeth and was a waste of my money. Dr Harandi gave me an estimate of over $500 for a procedure I did not need. I went to another dentist for a consult because I was losing faith in Dr Harandi office, and he also confirmed I did not need deep cleaning. Last, I was told I needed to get a new crown and they were going to charge me an additional $250 "lab fee". My insurance confirmed they were not allowed to BY CONTRACT AGREEMENT to charge me anything above the set fee. I never paid $800 out of pocket for a crown, and that was including insurance coverage! If this office is charging that $250 to people, they are guilty of fraud. I feel uncomfortable with their business practices and will not be returning to their office.

I have been going to Dr. Harandi's office since the early 90's. He has treated me from bridges to cleanings. He is excellent in everthing that he does. If I had a problem or concern he listened and was fair as well as understanding. That goes for his staff, too. While waiting in the operation room one day,I overheard another patient had come to Dr Harandi's because they were very disappointed in their previous dentist. but seemed to satisfied with Dr. Harandi. I highly recommend, Dr.Harandi for your personal dental concerns.

I went 3 times for cleanings each 6 months. The first time I was told my teeth were in terrible shape. I've never been told that before but that doesn't mean they're wrong. I figured, with age you can't keep everything in good shape. I accepted when they recommended debridement, a painful and invasive cleaning that involves separating the gum from the teeth to remove extremely heavy deposits of calculus. It also removed 200+ from my wallet. 6 mos later they told me a regular cleaning was ok. then 6 mos after that debridement again. I left with no cleaning on suspicion I was being hoodwinked. What tipped me off is that they gave the exact same routine to my wife as well as 2 other people she works with. One says she gets debridement yearly. I've had 2 more dentists since then and they told me what I've always been told my whole life by dentists. That I'm very very lucky to be in the minority of people who have naturally healthy teeth. I brush twice a day, floss irregularly and yet I've never had a cavity. Furthermore, calculus never gets a good buildup on my teeth.

I made an appointment with Dr. Ali Harandi about a year ago and after waiting an hour past my appointment, his assistant finally started working on my tooth which only needed a filling at the time. and ofcourse when the docotor himself showed up he first set up a schedule to get my teeth cleaned for $700 dollars which is not covered by any insurance. Then he recommended that he put a crown on one of my teeth that had previously been rout canaled (5 years ago) by another dentist. I wish I had said no, because one year and $2000 later I've had to go back 6 times to fit the crown over my tooth. finally I gave up and went to a different dentist, where I've been told that now there's an infection under the crown and i need to pull the tooth out. only if I had gone to a different dentists I would've been able to save my tooth.

Dr. Harandi is reasonable and easy going. He provides quality work. His staff is largely helpful and efficient.

About Hygienist: Outside of getting an irrigation (that I don't think I needed) my first visit, I've been largely happy with their service likewise.
