They literally saved my teeth. After a decade of going to another prominent practice in Nashville, the hygienist asked me "how serious are you about saving these teeth?" VERY!!! I had developed periodontal disease and actually lost a second molar .. they were resolved to taking my teeth out one by one. My wife was a patent of Dr. Munro's .. I went to him and he offered DNA testing for the bacteria causing the disease that my dentist did not. After a few months of attacking the problem, the pocketing in my gums is all but eliminated. Then we went on to correct my bite and replace all of the old mercury fillings and repair all of the other issues that had arisen from years and years of "managed neglect" with my other dentist. Also, John is one of the nicest and most genuine human beings you will ever meet.

About Hygienist: Both hygienists have been great. Totally on top of dealing with my specific issues. I feel very much like an individual. All of the staff have been wonderful to me and extraordinarily skilled.

My experience with Dr. Munro was wonderful! Went in for a chipped front tooth which he repaird flawlessly along with, going above and beyond what I was in for and evening out imperfections from previous work I had had done elsewhere. I have recommended Dr. Munro to several friends who have all had equally as great as an experience as I. I no longer live in Nashville but will make a trip here just for his services. I recommend dr. Munro 110%

Dr Munro exemplifies the best in general and cosmetic dentistry.
From the moment you walk in the staff welcomes you by name and makes you feel at home by offering you coffee, tea or an opportunity to wait while you relax in the massage chair in the zen room. Whatever type of work he has performed it has been relatively painless and he does an outstanding job. A number of people have provided positive comments on my teeth over the years and I'm grateful to acknowledge his practice. I highly recommend Dr Munro!

I highly recommend Belle Forest Dental. This was the best dental experience of my life. The girls are so friendly and caring and Dr. Munro is very personable. I expressed my wishes regarding my teeth and was actually listened to. They pay very close attention to all the details which is important to me. I had large silver fillings replaced and my new onlays look so natuaral. At the end of the appointment the girls took such good care of me, I even got a smoothie. This is not your typical dental office. I am so glad I found them.

Buyer beware!!! This dentist is outrageously expensive and suggests work that does not need to be performed. They presented me with a "care plan" for my teeth totalling $10,000 which included replacing my current crowns. I was shocked and horrified by this amount and decided to go for a second opinon. The second dentist was referred to me by my primary physician for whom I have immense respect. The second opinion dentist looked at my mouth and x-rays which were sent to his office by Dr. Munro and told me my existing crowns were in good shape and I did not need any work. I was totally floored! How could someone be so unethical? I mean I could understand if the second dentist had come back with you need to replace the crowns but we can do it in a less expensive manner, but to come back with you do not need any work done at all is simply unbelievable.

Had multiple amalgam fillings replaced with composites. Insurance claims were submitted for me. Competent and Friendly Service and have already recommended his services to others.

Dentistry should not leave a person in emotional distress or left to fend for themselves in the middle of treatment even when they spent a lot of time clearly communicating their situation in concise detail. Unfortunately, this happened to me at Belle Forest Dental.
In one day, I was told, "We want you to come here as a patient" and "We refuse to help you." I tried to ask questions regarding why they all the sudden decided that they would not treat me and the answer changed several times.
***** should not be responsible for communicating with patients over delicate matters because she is uncaring and dishonest. She's a horrible communicator. I was refused treatment after I had already spent a good amount of money doing things according to this office's protocol. They lied to my face regarding a concern that I expressed to them. They disregarded my thoughts and feelings completely. A dentist who has even an ounce of compassion would tell a patient himself verbally or in writing why he cannot treat him/her and provide a valid explanation. I was refused treatment at the last minute, several weeks after my first visit. They left me in a bind.

I cannot say enough about the care you receive at Bellevue Forest Dental from Dr. Munro and his staff. Everyone from the front desk to the Hygienists are personable, willing to work with your schedule and budget to accomplish the best results available! From Connie and Susan to Annette and Dr. Munro, the best care, your comfort and an awesome outcome is their focus. I've had crowns replaced, bonding removed/improved on drastically (!!!) when replaced and whitening. Absolutely the best experience and results I've ever had for my dental needs.

When 3 crowns fell off, all of which had been made by my former dental office, I knew it was time to seek a new dentist. My former dental office was unwilling to replace the crowns...and I'd been a loyal patient for over 10 yrs.!
After much internet searching and prayer, I kept being led
back to Dr. Wells/Dr. Munro's website. Not only were their credentials impressive, but something in their eyes convinced me they had compassion, too.
My first visit was for a consultation; the staff couldn't have been any kinder or more gracious! I explained my dental "issues", and the goals for my teeth in the future.
Debbie Ham, Patient Coordinator, listened attentively, then
sent me to see one of the Dental Assistants, Jaime. Both
ladies were just superb, both in their professional approach
to my needs, as well as in their display of empathy and kindness.
They immediately proposed creation of 2 temporary crowns
for the gaping hole at the front of my mouth. When Jaime's
artistic work in making the crowns was done, Dr. Munro
expertly affixed them. NO anesthesia was necessary!
I actually look forward to my next visit to this office! It was a
fantastic experience in every way! Dr. Munro was terrific!
About Hygienist: Jaime was quiet and efficient, knowledgable, respectful, gentle, and quite creative with the temporary crowns she made while I was there. She persisted until they fit properly; the end result? They looked real and natural!! Thank you, Jaime! I can smile again without feeling embarrassed and self-conscious!
