Dentist Leslie Au is negligent . in 2011 he made permanent crowns but left them on temporary cement for four years!!!Dentist Au did not suggest any solution within standard of care he advised me to have crowns on temporary cement!!!

Had me replace 9 perfectly good silver fillings with epoxy resin fillings as preventative maintenance and told me they were good for 20 years. I now have to replace two of the nine fillings he did just six years ago because the margins have failed due to the filling not bonding to the teeth correctly. He also cracked one of my teeth while doing one of the fillings and I have had to have that tooth removed. I called the office to discuss the failed fillings and i was told by the rude receptionist that they only last two years. I asked to speak to Dr Au and i was told he would call me back. I never received a call.

About Hygienist: I had a standing appointment every six months that I booked immediately after the teeth cleaning and I entered it into my cell phone calendar. When I showed up for my last appointment after taking off work and driving 2 hours to get there during rush hour that I did not have an appointment. I tried to reschedule it and I was told she was on vacation and booked solid for the next few months when she returned. So I found a new dentist closer to where I live.

Dr. Au is a very knowledgeable and skilled dentist who
goes out of his way to explain to the patient what he is
doing and what is needed.
I would be amazed if you didn't have anything
but an excellent expereince with him.
Highly recommended.

Bad experience with Invisalign. New receptionist very rude and not helpful. Love one dental hygienist, but that's about it.

An outstanding dentist. He always explains what what needs to be done and why, gives alternatives, and explains possible problems. He is truly painless. Before I started to go to him I was terrified of dental work; now I go in without a qualm. On my first visit he fixed an articulation problem which several dentists had failed to remedy. He did my front crowns so now I'm not reluctant to smile (that is not a joke, before his work I kept my mouth shut at all times). I have recommended Dr. Au to several co-workers, who have all expressed their delight in finding a dentist they can trust. I gave him a "3" in cost, but since I have very good insurance, that's just a guess.

Root canal left a lot of root intact, so I needed to go to an endodontist after long-term infection and severe pain. That cost me an additional $700 out of pocket, not to mention a lot of pain.

my family loves dr. au. we've been going to him for twenty years and he has always taken care of our teeth.

Dr. Au is a great dentist. He explains everything to you as you go along. There are no surprises. He is very sensitive to your needs and always considerate of your special needs as an individual. There is little to no pain. Price is reasonable or average. All procedures move along quickly and gently and before you know it you are done!
