I had high expectations for this practice, but my appointment was a major disappointment. The office manager is very nice. But on the day of my appointment the dentist I had an appointment with called in sick. No one called me to ask me if I would like to re-schedule, it was apparently assumed I would be OK with whatever dentist was available. More significantly, although I had made an appointment for a cleaning, the technician took about 20 x-rays, lectured me for 15 minutes on how to brush my teeth, and then told me she was not going to do a cleaning. She wants me to make an appointment for another procedure, then I can come back yet another time for a cleaning. I lost $100 out of pocket and an hour of my day. I will be going to a dental office for a cleaning, but it won't be here.

Dr. Sikora is one of the best dentists I have ever gone to. She takes the extra time to explain exactly what procedure she will be doing which puts her patients at ease. She even offered some Alieve prior to having a filling done on one of my back upper molars to prevent muscle soreness from having my mouth open for so long. Her office is quiet, clean, modern and in the beautiful board of trade building. The only negatives, and why I need to find another dentist is the location is not convient if you do not live/work in the loop. Also- she just changed her billing practices so that you must pay 100% of the bill up front and then your insurance will send reimbursement to you.
