To date I have had two root canals performed by John West. I may need to have a third. Please believe me, for your own benefit, this facility and Dr John West is the best choice you can make if you need this procedure. I was told by my regular dentist (no longer my regular dentist) that my tooth could not be saved and I needed to have an implant or a bridge. I saw an implant specialist and he refered me to Dr West. I had major bone loss and ended up having an adjacent tooth needing treatment as well. It's been over 2 years. I have been going to regularly scheduled follow ups. The bone has almost completely regrown. The teeth involved were one front tooth and the adjacent side tooth. I can eat apples now with no pain or concern about damaging those crowns. Dr West would call me in the evenings after my visits just to see how I was doing. I had alot of infection going on in my bone and it was not a straight forward routine procedure. The man is passionate about his work and has an excellent chair-side manner. All of the office staff that I have met are excellent. I have major investement in my dental care since I was very young and have been to many dentists. Dr. John West is by far the very best that I have met.

High quality patient care. Staff is efficient and professional. I am extremely pleased and actually had a fun time at office.

The procedure went well and the staff was very accommodating, however, I was not informed of the price until after the procedure when I was ushered to the finance desk. In dentistry there exists a term called, "informed consent" which was never made available to me. Had I known that I was to pay $1500 for an uncomplicated procedure (approx. 40 min), I would have visited my last endo doc (out of state) who charged me just $750.

Repairing root canal from another doctor. Everyone is exceptionally nice from the ladies that greeted me at the front desk to Dr. West.

I went in for a failed root canal and was amazed that after draining the infection I was sent home with a temporary seal until my insurance approval came thru and since the doctor was out of town for a month I was left to live with the pain until his return. When I returned the assistant did the majority of the work which shocked me! I was told that above the 1,500 my insurance paid I was expected to pay over 400.00 at the time of service. I got them to agree to 100.00 down on the date of treatment and 50.00 payments monthly. I gave them a check for the Friday after service which was pay day, they cashed it the next day! I also over heard an assistant ask the doctor about another patients treatment while I was in the chair and I was disgusted to hear him say "put a temporary cap on it until insurance approval comes in" This is exactly why we need medical reform!! Patient care and comfort is no longer a priority! Money is the only thing they seem interested in, but of course with the spa like decore' to keep up it is understandable that insurance payment for treatment just isn't enough! I will never go back there. I'd rather be treated by a doctor that cares about his patients first and his vacations and decore' last.

Amazing service and quality of work. in my case he was able to discover additional canals going sideways and treat them. This is the only root canal specialist i will ever go back to. Amazing technology use and customer service.

I went to Dr West's office for the first time this morning, only expecting a consult for a treatment recommendation. Imagine my surprise when he asked if I had time for him to do the root canal right now. His financial staff contacted my insurance company right away to see what my portion of the bill would be. They were willing to come up with a payment plan if I needed it. I have never had a root canal before and if this one was any indication my fears were completely unfounded. From the injection to the drilling, filling, and addition of the bleaching agent everything was marvelous. What a wonderful experience.

If I had need of further work of this type, I surely would have been back. In fact I'm only sorry that they couldn't be my regular dentist office and staff!
Rather than being angry because I was late, they understood my need to pull over with a panic attack, and gave me something to calm me down. They were extremely nice and empathetic one and all. The level of professionalism is A plus,
as are the attitudes and finished results! I just cannot say enough good things about these very competent and positive people!

I went in and was treated poorly. Waited for 45+ minutes beyond my appointment time. Then after being taken back Dr. West pulled up my lip to inject the anesthetic. It was more painful than the injection of the needle or any other needle for that matter. I was never talked to about the diagnosis. I asked questions, but only recieved the answers - no further explanation. My referring dentist had to call and find out what the prognosis was. I would not recommend Dr. West. He was arrogant and had poor bed-side manners!
