Staff was friendly at the first visit, then treated me like "just another patient" in the next visit. They could not quote exact out of pocket expense at the time, then canceled an appointment for a crown to cover a root canal one day before because I had an outstanding balance. When I tried to make sense of the balance quoted, the doctor got on the phone and talked down to me. They promised to send an itemized bill the next day, I got it a month later. The difference between what I paid and the balance they wanted is the difference between what they are charging and my dental plan rate. I tried explaining this a month ago and it fell on deaf ears. Hostile dentist, to be avoided.

About Front Desk: Lupe, the front desk clerk was friendly up to where we tried to find out the difference in the bill. She was instructed by the dentist to cancel the appointment, then the dentist eventually took the phone from her while he had a patient in his chair to talk down to me. The promised bill was not sent as quickly as promised.

I really did enjoy being in this dentist office right up until I met the actual dentist himself. The staff was super friendly, and the facility itself was quite nice, and very clean. But then when Dr. del Valle came in, it all went downhill. He didn't speak much to me, and when he went to take x-rays of my mouth he knocked me in the head, twice, with the machine, and did not once apologize or act like he felt bad about it- it freaking hurt! He didn't explain what he had been planning on doing for my teeth very much, leading me to believe that he would be possibly extracting my tooth on a later date. Then he asked me to open my mouth, never explaining what was happening, and stuck in the needle to numb me! I was in shock! During the extraction of my tooth I could not feel a whole lot which was nice, but he was wrenching pretty hard, afterwards my entire jaw was extremely sore (something that never happened after my other extractions.) The hygienist did a terrible job sucking out the water and the blood during the extraction, and I felt like I was drowning several times. When I complained that I needed a minute, Dr. del Valle was very rude about it... I do not recommend this office at all.
