I had been looking for a new dentist for about a year but starting having pain from a tooth. I ended up having a crown put in. The procedure was done with patience and care for someone who hates going to the dentist. I have since recommended Dr Patel to friends and family. She's an excellent dentist.

I went to Dr. Patel because she was a former neighbor.
Friendly, efficient office staff, no-nonsense scheduling, and short wait times were encouraging.
Dr. Patel's work was very good, painless (well, not the diagnosis, but the work), and professional.

My husband and I have been going to this dentist for about 7 yrs now. The reception staff are good in handling your appts and rescheduling if necessary. I had to wait for about 15 mins a couple of times, otherwise she is prompt. They are good in doing the paperwork and filing the claims for you. I was able to get a nice recommendation for a great oral surgeon when I had an oral surgery. If you carry an insurance that this dentist accepts, I would recommend it for you.
About Hygienist: Drs new heiginist Ann Marie is great and gental comparing to previous one.

VERY painful with no offer of anesthetic. When I asked for some, I was told that if I was in pain, I should have said something at the beginning. I would think a mouth full of blood won't be a clue that pain meds were necessary.
Had a cleaning does as well and it was the worst cleaning I have had in over 30 years. Will NOT be going back.

I had several fillings done by Dr. Patel in October. The administered anesthetic was insufficient, it was the MOST PAINFUL procedure I've ever had done. One of the fillings has already chipped. I have found a new dentist in the area, and have had much better results.

Dr. Patel is a top flight medical professional who is most efficient at treatment. She shows genuine interest in patients well being and cares for all members of my family.
About Hygienist: Equally effective under Dr. Patels close supervision.

My family went to Dr. Patel for 1 year. My husband and I had 2 appointments and my children each had one appointment. Both my husband and I felt that while Dr. Patel was pleasant and professional, she was not very gentle. I have always had easy teeth, and check-ups/cleanings have been a breeze. I was very uncomfortable during the cleaning with Dr. Patel. My son had a cavity, and she was unable to successfully treat him. She said he needed to have anesthesia, and she was not comfortable using anesthesia with children. We were referred to a Pediatric Dentist. That referral went very well, and they did not have to use anesthesia. My kids love their new pediatric dentist, and the adults found gentler hands to work in their mouths. Sorry, not a good experience.

Dr. Patel is very friendly and will work with you to find the most appropriate treatment while also considering what will be cost effective for you. The front desk reps are also friendly. The facilities are clean and neat. I really like Dr. Patel and would recommend her to anyone who needs a dentist in Falls Church.
