My family went to Dr. Patel for 1 year. My husband and I had 2 appointments and my children each had one appointment. Both my husband and I felt that while Dr. Patel was pleasant and professional, she was not very gentle. I have always had easy teeth, and check-ups/cleanings have been a breeze. I was very uncomfortable during the cleaning with Dr. Patel. My son had a cavity, and she was unable to successfully treat him. She said he needed to have anesthesia, and she was not comfortable using anesthesia with children. We were referred to a Pediatric Dentist. That referral went very well, and they did not have to use anesthesia. My kids love their new pediatric dentist, and the adults found gentler hands to work in their mouths. Sorry, not a good experience.
