I have been going to Dr. Mu for a very long time and absolutely love her and the office. I originally went to her because the dentist I was going to told me I had hairline cracks in a numbe of teeth and needed to start getting crowns.
I decided to get another opinion and went to Dr. Mu, she basically said "If they break we will fix them, don't waste your money" A couple have broke in the last 14 years and we fixed them when we needed too. How refreshing.
I also have to add she has such small hands that you hardly feel them in you mouth. I don't feel yanked and pulled by some bigs hands in my mouth. Try her and you will see what I mean.

Dr Mu is the best dentist I've ever had. She is honest, knowledgeable, extremely competent, and highly skilled. She has performed cleaning and replacement of an old filling for me, and has filled cavities and fitted porcelain caps on other family members.

Dr. Mu and her staff are kind and welcoming. Most of them are pretty funny,too. Besides the high quality of care and state of the art facility, Dr. Mu's committment to not spending your money unnecessarily is a breath of fresh air.
About Hygienist: The hygienists are all great. Gentle and considerate and great story tellers.

Dr. Mu is a very knowledgeable dentist. When I first visited her, my gum was bleeding all the times. She was able to identify the root cause and had a complete treatment plan. She was able to restore the health of my gum tissue. My gum became healthy again and was not as sensitive as it used to be. I'm completely satisfied with Dr. Mu.
About Hygienist: The hygienist who did my cleaning was great. She was very careful, and I didn't feel pain during the cleaning.

She is an unbelievably fabulous dentist and all of her staff is very accomplished.

Although I'm sure she is a competent practitioner when motivated, my visits to Dr. Mu's office only guaranteed that I will never return.
My requests to be informed about what work was being done were ignored and I was treated as if I were an inconvenience to the staff. This was compounded by her chairside manner, which is abrasive at best, and deliberately oblivious to her patients' needs at the other end of the spectrum.
In addition, it was actually stated that she was late to see another patient and she really didn't have time to properly finish my filling. " I know I'm leaving this high, but I really need to get to the next patient and you can come back to have that fixed," were the last words she spoke to me. This is not acceptable, and is certainly not standard practice.
This was NOT a comfortable experience and I would not recommend this dentist to anyone.

Dr. Mu is really "cute" the way she always reminds you to floss and seems to really care about her patients. Is also friendly and conversational. A great family dentist.

Dr. Mu is an excellent dentist who cares very much for the well being of her patients. She always gave me a range of treatment plans, from lowest cost ones to best cosmetic outcomes, and let me decide. She is very gentle and her shots are painless and accurate. Her staff bills my insurance directly.

I've been going to Dr. Mu for several years regularly. One day she told me I had to do a surgery by a specialist or extraction if waited. I didn't know what took her so long to notice the problem, she replied that she observed but I guess she observe wrong.
