We have found Mr. Hess to very disresptful indeed towards our 8-year-old child. Our daughter suffers from a disorder called Selective Mutism; simply put, the physical inability to speak in certain situations. Mr. Hess could not comprehend why our child would not speak to him, even after being fully informed about this awful condition. Most children of course - and their parents - will have no difficulties with Mr. Hess; they are lucky. We transferred to a different dentist, but Mr. Hess deliberately made it very difficult to release the necessary medical records pertaining to our daughter. I cannot comprehend why a person in such a profession would be so vindicative; simply because we wanted our daughter to be treated by an alternative, competent dentist.
