Not only does this practice have sub-standard health practices and infection control, they only care about pushing unnecessary dentistry and selling Invisalign. There are 1000s of other offices in SF, many of which are in the same building as this DDS, please do yourself a favor and avoid.

Dr Walley is in the process of completing an upper-arch reconstruction for me. The experience has been painless and stress-free. He is clearly one of the top professionals in his field largely because he genuinely enjoys his work. His office is efficient, friendly, comfortable and immaculate. In spite of the extensive work he had to perform, I could easily have fallen asleep in the chair if I did not have to be conscious of keeping my mouth open.
The staff is attentive and focused on the comfort of the patient throughout all the procedures. Dr. Walley fully informs his patients of the procedures he has recommended. He is not just out there to make money. He offers several alternatives from which to chose and leaves the decision entirely up to you, the patient. I am very pleased to have finally discovered a dental office that I look forward to visiting on a regular basis. I recommend Dr. Walley, and his entire technical staff to anyone seeking a dental professional who remains abreast of the latest procedures and maintains the latest in equipment. This office is excellent!

Dr. Walley and his whole office are nice caring people that really take their work serious, both the relationship as well as the physical dentistry. The staff is curtious and attentive. The dentist is honest and thoughtful. In the same instant, they are diligent at working with your dental problems as well as very professional in their work and care.
Type of care I have received:
1. Dental extractions - 5/5. Very clean and very exact.
2. Fillings - 5/5 For a dental appointment it was not able quick and sufficient, it had wonderful results. My tooth surface is strong and I can eat much more wonderfully.
3. Invisalgn - 5/5 Great price and great follow ups. Just a few more months to go.
4. Deep Cleaning - 5/5 This has been the most satisfying part to finding this dentist. I have had several in the past, but this office gives lasting positive effects. Previous dentistry, while some were good, just did not cut it.

He is fast and pain free! He works so quickly that you won't have any time thinking about his action! It's not expensive I would say, but it is a bit pricier than a dentist in suburbs! Worth the time and the money.

He is fast and he mostly just manages his office as he is a good manager, telling others and supervising them to do their job right. He is serious and does not make mistakes. I'm not sure if he is any more expensive than other dentists, but if so, his work worths it surely. He is in love with his job as this is what his father did when he was a little boy...
give it a shot!

On the plus side, he did good work on me -- fillings, a root canal, and other more extensive repairs -- and it was for the most part painless. Could have been much worse. The facilities were decent enough.
On the minus side, the bedside manner was a little strange, particularly the way the employees interacted with each other. Dr. Walley was nice enough to but was rather cross with his assistants, which I found unsettling. Also there was the feeling like he was really pushing certain treatments/procedures I didn't need - a feeling that was echoed by friends who also visited him. Basically, the work he did was good but the whole thing felt a little strange.

He and his staff try constantly to talk me into unnneccesary vanity procedures that I am not interested in (invisalign for one slightly crooked tooth, veneers, bleaching, etc) and continue to push them even after I have made it clear I am not interested. His hygenists can be rough but I think he may have some new ones. I am not sure I trust him and his diagnosis completely.

this was the worst dental experience of my life. walley kept touching my shoulder while i was in the chair, in a manner that was inappropriate (would he keep touching the shoulder of a grown man? i doubt it) and made me feel uncomfortable. their computer system kept crashing. a routine check-up took TWO HOURS, and then i had to come back in an hour and half for my cleaning! he charged me a copay for white cosmetic fillings without informing me of cheaper options. i cannot emphasize enough how little i recommend this doctor.

All he wants is money. He will just try to talk you into anything and everything just to up his sales. He isnt comforting in the slightest and degrades his assistants
