On the plus side, he did good work on me -- fillings, a root canal, and other more extensive repairs -- and it was for the most part painless. Could have been much worse. The facilities were decent enough.
On the minus side, the bedside manner was a little strange, particularly the way the employees interacted with each other. Dr. Walley was nice enough to but was rather cross with his assistants, which I found unsettling. Also there was the feeling like he was really pushing certain treatments/procedures I didn't need - a feeling that was echoed by friends who also visited him. Basically, the work he did was good but the whole thing felt a little strange.
