Dr. Hershbergers office is a wonderful place to visit. With both my kids in braces at one point or another, they were very thorough with their explaination of treatment plans and cost. The front office staff was always friendly and accomodating. Would hightly recommend to a friend.

They wanted an $800.00 up front payment before anything was done,even though my insurance was paying 1500.00 of the total cost. I should have turned around and walked out the door then. On top of that they set up the payments so that my daughters braces were paid for in full before her bottom braces were even on. His office is so busy that it is difficult to make after school appointments.

He and his staff are all so friendly that it really creates a stress free atmosphere. also, he has such a great sense of humor he can lighten up the whole experience. the trearments have always had the desired effect on me. He is the best!

We find the office to have too many clients - very poor customer service - if you miss an appointment (they won't call and remind you of it) expect to wait an additional 6 weeks for a new one. You can aslo expect to wait 30 min to and hour for your scheduled appointment. Lastly, they convey all info to your child - took them 3 months to tell me my child was supposed to be wearing bands (never had braces myself - had no idea).

My daughter is one of his patients and she just loves him and his assistants.

Dr. Hershberger is one of the best people I have ever met. On a personal as well as professional level. He truly cares about his patients and is more concerned about their wellbeing than the bottom line. He takes time to get to know the kids and becomes their friend. He has no problem saying "lets wait to do this till later". Some orthodontists rush the procedure so they can get the full payment, Dr Hershberger doesn't consider costs when making his judgements. At the end, it might mean more money but I think at the end of the day, the final product will always be stellar with Dr. Hershberger. I recommend him very enthusiastically.

Dr. Hershberger is a man that takes way to long to get the whole process over with. You can tell all the kids in high school who still have braces, go to Dr. Hershberger. I had to yell at him to have him take off my daughter's, after her dentist said her roots were weakening. There's only two nurses there that are nice, and the rest really upset my other daughter. They've been very mean to her and so has Dr. Hershberger. It's not worth it to go here.

Dr. Hershberger may seem nice at first, but don't be fooled. He constantly yells at my daughter about her oral hygiene even though she really does brush a lot and tries hard. He has crossed over the line numerous times and actually yelled at her and made her feel uncomfortable. He told her that she has bad teeth and that they won't look pretty. There are a few nice assistants, but there is one that is just nasty who my child has been stuck with every time she goes. She's been going in since 3rd grade and now she is a freshman in high school and we still dont know when shell come out. He makes her feel self-conscious about her teeth. He does a good job getting them to look good, but it isnt at all worth it for the emotional rollercoaster he puts the children though. We made an enormous mistake coming here and we only hope that others don't make the same mistake we did.

Dr. Hershberger is a very kind and gentle doctor with a great sense of humor! He has a wonderful way with kids; puts them at ease and is very reassuring about questions they may have about upcoming braces, procedures etc. for their teeth
My son has mild autism, and on our first visit, Dr. Hershberger made a special appointment for Jeremy, with a comfortable time frame and a quiet office. Dr. H. was so kind and took the time to explain to my son, all the components of getting braces and why it was important for him to have them.
He was also very respectful with me as a parent about my responsiblities in the process too. I highly recommend Dr. H.!
