Reasonable price quote for Invisalign. Treatment finished. Looked fine. Gave me a retainer. I thought that's all. Great. Got emails to return. Turns out he wanted me to BUY FOUR retainers a year @ a cost of $475--that was a savings because of ordering 4 at a time. EVERY YEAR. (something about hygiene and fact that they would "deform" over time! I don't THINK so.) I assumed the RETAINER was included in the price quote. What point straightening your teeth unless you plan to KEEP them that way? Of course you do. And of course that is part of straightening your teeth. So ASK first when you get a quote for straightening misaligned teeth how much he is going to charge you for KEEPING them that way!!! Done in 2012. They looked perfect. Still do. But I am NOT paying $475 a year. (For LIFE? C'mon.) He should quote the price for his entire course of treatment.

Dr. Frank Celenza made little eye contact with me and had very little time to discuss anything but the major milestones of my invisalign treatment. Granted I did not do enough due diligence but, when you are looking for successful invisalign and you are paying a park ave premium (way above market value) you at least expect some degree of courtesy and consideration - even if I had missed an appt! When his offices started billing $600+ without so much as extending me a courtesy call I hit the roof...invisalign works! - Celenza's office will work your nerves...the pain came in dealing with the logistics/cost of treatment.

Dr. Frank Celenza is one of the top orthodontists in NYC are. He was recommended to me by my co-worker and he designed a very effective treatment option for my very difficult case. So far the experince has been good. Will update when I get final results. The best thing about his office is that it is an adult only office and adult patients are his specialty.
