Overall treatment result was ok, and process was relatively smooth. However, it is very difficult to get any information from the doctor during the treatment process as he is not receptive to questions and does not take time to explain what he is doing. We often felt brushed aside if we asked any questions and he can seem disrespectful.
He was also impatient with our child at times which was very disappointing and unexpected for someone who deals with children on a regular basis.
About Front Desk: Appointments are relatively easy to obtain. Staff typically helpful.

Dr. Mizell came highly recommended. When first met Dr. Mizell, he appeared friendly and nice. However, after 4 yrs of treatment, his skill (or lack of) is the problem!!! My son's teeth, after 4 yrs of treatment, looks like he need orthodontist work. His bottom teeth was all slided on one side. My son is ashame to show his teeth now, & Dr. Mizell's reasoning for this unacceptable result is, my son's face/head has grown into "one-sided" or not straight...and there is nothing else he can do. After $5,000 & 4 years wasted, we are back in square one. We found a new orthodontist, and the new doctor told us that there is NO SUCH thing as face growing "one-sided". The new doctor will be using an arch in between teeth to help move all of my son's bottom teeth back to be straight with his face, and he has shown us others' results.
A lot of today's orthodontists are so busy trying to make as much money as possible that they are no longer interested in doing the right thing. We were given about 2 minutes with Dr. Mizell on every visit, thus, if things weren't perfect, he really has NOT the time, NOR the skill to do it right. I hope this help the next person who is consider Dr. Mizell to be your orthodontist!!!

Dr Mizell does a great job of explaining the best orthodontic treatment for you. His fascilities are great as well

Extremely friend and accommodating staff, and very knowledgeable doctor. The procedure is still ongoing and has been a lot slower than expected. But I have faith in Dr Mizell.

I went to Mizell for myself. I felt a little embarrassed at first being a grown woman, but he has patients in of all ages. He puts sterling silver brackets on the kids and ceramic ones on the adults. These are a lot less noticable.
I liked him so much, I took my son to get his braces there. We live in Copperfield, but I think the drive is worth it.
I've recommended him to everyone for themselves and/or their kids.

I went to Dr. Mizell as a senior in highschool having to pay for my own braces, he worked with me and my part-time minimum wage job to make payments. I get compliments all the time on my smile and my thanks go out to Dr. MIzell. He was worked with me on bleaching and on all my retainer replacements over the past 6 years. He is a great Dr and his staff is awesome!
