While I am still early in my adventure, Dr. Crosby is very professional and helpful. My regular dentist recommended Dr. Crosby highly. Everything was explained clearly and and questions were answered with complete information. Dr. Crosby is an Associate Clinical Professor in the department of orthodontics at Baylor College of Dentistry where he teaches Invisalign to the orthodontic residents as well as remains very involved in academic affairs. It is for this reason I felt very comfortable going to him.
He explained everything very well and even showed a 3D modeling of what the goal was for my teeth and what they were projected to look like if I followed the protocal. I'm excited!!

I will start by saying the doctor is a very nice man, but the service is absolutely rediculous. I got invisalign about 2 years ago and was told i would be done after about 6 months. I still have invisalign and not finished yet. On top of that, they are constantly cancelling my appointments. I dont know how many times i have had appoitnments and they will cancel the day of and then wouldnt be able to get me in for about a month. Then when that time comes around, he is out of town and I would have to see another doctor that wants to do something completely different to my teeth or tells me my teeth are done. Also, im not sure how many times i have showed up for appointments and my invisalign trays arent there. I have drove 30 minutes, i dont know how many times, to pick up or see the doctor for an apoint ment and nothing is ready so i have to leave and come the next day. I have also come the next day as they told me to, and its still not ready. NO PHONES CALLS TO LET ME KNOW ANYTHING. I feel like since its all paid for and they have their money, the service isnt there at all. I would highly recommend to find a more organized orthodontist.

Dr. Douglas Crosby totally messed up my teeth; he pulled my upper left first premolar unnecessarily. Now the gap is closed but my face is crooked from the front. My top midline is way off center now. My teeth look worse than before, my face looks terrible.

Three of my children have used Dr. Crosby and I am finding another ortho for my two youngest. In the early years, the office staff was excellent. In the past three years, actually speaking to anyone when I call is next to impossible. The machine is on most of the time even during normal business hours. It does not take messages forcing me to make repeated attempts to just ask a simple question. The front office is now a constant parade of new people who have no understanding of even basic patient customer service. Although Dr. Crosby is a very good orthodontist, I feel that his complete lack of attention to his office has resulted in subpar treatment especially in my last child to be under his care. Even the assistants are constantly changing so the kids never get to know any of them. Although he is a very popular ortho in the JJ Pearce area, several families are now going elsewhere to find someone who actually cares about his patients.

I have been going to Dr. Crosby for about ten years now. I had braces ten years ago, and my permanent retainer recently broke. Dr. Crosby was more than happy to take the retainer off, and give me a clear plastic one-for free! His office is great, and very welcoming!

Dr. Crosby and his staff are GREAT. They made my son (who was terrified) feel extremely comfortable, explaining each and every detail. and the atmosphere in the office (the sports theme) is very inviting to kids.
