Dr. Blalock is a FANTASTIC orthodontist! I was lucky enough to have him straighten my teeth as a teenager - I had a mouth full of ugly and he completely turned everything around. (Pun intended). He was able to give me a beautiful smile in just under a year, and I couldn't be happier. He is a tooth genius, he's very caring and sweet - probably the nicest doctor I've ever been to. His office is clean, professional, and everyone is really genuine. They get to know you and make you feel like you're apart of their family. I've been back to get my retainers updated, and always enjoy getting to see him. My sister also went to him and he did a great job on her teeth as well. I recommend him to anyone who asks and you can't do any better than him... so, do yourself a favor after reading the great reviews on his practice and go in and be wowed by his work !

When I was 15 Dr. Blalock suggested that I get an implant to replace a tooth that had never grown in, even though my teeth had naturally filled in the place of the missing tooth and no one was the wiser. My parents took his word on how beneficial the surgery would be, because he is, after all, an expert. Eight years and thousands of dollars later, I immensely regret listening to his suggestion. The crown of my implant comes off at least twice a year, resulting in so much wasted time and money to find dentists who will re-cement it on.
I believe that Dr. Blalock misused his expertise and duped my lower-middle class parents into purchasing an entirely unwarranted dental surgery. My parents trusted this man, sent me and and my two older sisters to get braces from him, and he still took advantage of my family by suggesting that I get the surgery.
Be wary of medical experts who misuse their expertise and take advantage of your ignorance.

Dr. Blalock goes out of his way to develop a relationship with each patient. Even though you are aware of the emminent pain of tighter braces at each visit you still find yourself excited to hear how your teeth are shifting and how he and his staff are. Dr. Blalock is very understanding of the trials of braces and goes out his way to eliminate obsticles. The girls are very professional, gentle, and friendly. Laura, the front desk receptionist, is always helpful and kind. Insurance is delt with through his office, and minimal patient effort is required. Dr. Blalock documents all of his work through top notch technology and is very honest about your dental progress. For the price all consults, check ups, repairs, documentation, retainers, and equipment is included. For 1.5 years of braces I paid a little over $3000, but he bases his price on the severity of the case. For a wonderful staff and friendly personality he is worth every penny! If he is still in business when my children need braces he is who we will service.
