My grandchildren love him. He provides great care. He is straight forward and puts the kids welfare at the top. His office is relaxing ,well managed and well scheduled. Not full of screaming children who are waiting forever to be seen. I have never seen a child leave his office crying!

My daughter took my 4 year old grandson for treatment. They would not let her back as she had a newborn. Dr. Poland told her she should have left the baby at home. They stated they could not complete the procedure and she would need to reschedule and pay $200.00 more for oral sedation. I took him to the next appointment a month later. They do not create an environment for small children, he was condescending and rude. My children all saw a pediadontist as children and his practice was nothing like that. He should not be practicing on small children. He does not have the patience or demeanor to connect or put them at ease. There was NOTHING in the dental room that would engage a small child to relax. It was a room for an adult. He went on and on about how my grandson "pitched a fit" and "someone must have taught him that", when in fact my grandson never throws fits. He tried to cow me with his comments, but was unsuccessful.Worst experience ever. We will NEVER return to that practice, but will find one that is set up for small children that has a staff that knows how to connect with children and put them at ease. Our visit that day was $589.00, not including the first consultation appointment.

My daughter absoulty loves dr Poland. Couldn't ask for a better dentist. Very friendly and general with children. My daughter has been a patient for 3 years now and loves going.

worst dentist i have ever visited. completely rude to patients and mean and loud to children. his treatment for my child was a failure four times before pulling the tooth. he was so rude that at our last visit he made my child cry because he was yelling at me for asking questions. i would not recommended him to anyone, unless of course you hate your kids.

My child loves him and he is good, however, he is expensive. When she was approx 4 he put in a retainer for her cross-bite that I was not sure she needed, but after 2 yrs (and a lot of monthly costs), he said her teeth were perfect. He does make appts w/you to discuss any costly work so that you know what's going on. At 11 yrs she needed braces and I had to shop around due to being unemployed and found an orthodontist that was at least $1K less. Overall he's good and he takes good care of my child's teeth, but I wish they were not as expensive and I should elsewhere, but I hate changing.

My daughter was taken there for the fisrt time about a month ago and they were very helpful in explaining to us and my daughter what is was wrong with her. She was so relaxed there (grandma told me) she did not cry or anything. She came back home trying really hard to take good care of her teeth. I thought the prices are very afordable for the quality of care he provides.
Its a 10 for me.

Kids like him. Mom/Dad do not. He missed an obvious cavity. Is too pricey. Is condescending. In a hurry to move on to other patients...seems hesitant to spend time answering questions. Staff underestimates time it will take to complete procedure.

As a child, I had the unfortunate experience of having my orthodontic work done with Dr. Poland. Not only did he have a horrible bed-side manner (which left me AND my poor mother in tears on numerous occasions), he was not gentle at all. He started putting me in braces at 7 years old, and left them on until I was 15!! He also put "sealants" on my molars to protect from cavities...too bad there were cavities already there! (I found this out years later when I switched to another dentist who was appalled at the decay UNDER the sealants not only in me, but in my brothers as well. Horrible experience with this dentist. He wasn't friendly, and each visit was a nightmare. I would be in pain, with tears running down my face in the chair, and he wouldn't care. I hope to God he's still not practicing.
