After 11 years Dr Tracht released our family from the practice over ONE incident. I had had several previous encounters with a front office employee and was talked down to and treated rudely. I didn't choose to complain as bad customer service is very common. But at our last visit I was checking out and that person and another person were being cold and callous. This has become more common it seems as the practice has grown. The personalized care seems to come from the long term hygeniest. The practice just isn't the same as it was years ago. You're more of just a "number" to the practice. And clearly the children's best interests are not what the office puts as priority by releasing our family over one incident. On that day I did address the employees directly. I told them I thought they had been being rude and a manger got involved as she overheard the conversation and it only got worse from there. I did not swear or shout.I called to apologize as I admitted I could've handled my frustration differently and would do so In the future, in a more private setting and asked for another "chance". Actually I said for my children's sake I wouldn't even say a word. Dr Tracht stood by his staff. He clearly cares little for the child
About Front Desk: Horrible customer service from those responsible for checking patients out and the manager that’s responsible for their supervision. They are rude, cold and callous. Beware if you express you’re discontent Directly to the staff you too will likely be released from their care. Then your children will suffer. I feel morally it’s so wrong what they did to our family that anyone considering this practice should rethink their decision so as not to leave their children devastated by their utter lack of empathy.

After 11 years we were let go from the practice over ONE incident. I had expressed my discontent with two front office employees at check who were being cold and callous. A manger got involved and it only got worse from there. I did not swear or scream. I called the office to apologize for my part in that I should've directed my concerns with management. I explained my stress over health and the fact that the employee had been rude several other times that I chose not to say anything. To which the manager ask did I ever consider the employee couldve been having a bad day ? Regardless I asked for another "chance " or reconsideration because we had such a long history and that office is all my 3 children have known. Dr Tracht would not budge. This could be you too. There's no compassion for what this has done to my children. The practice has changed over the years as it's grown. You're more of a number. We were categorized simply as a nuisance no compassion. The office doesn't need our business. And they don't need yours. I've learned the hard way bigger isn't always better. My children and family are devastated by this lack of compassion after being patients for 11 years. This is something to seriously consider.
About Front Desk: Impersonal and unfriendly. Not the way the website portrays the environment they strive to provide to their patients. They fall very short.

Love this office, my children loved going to Dr. Trachts office. Very clean, well organized, and professional. He offers great tips for oral hygiene.

Standard cleaning, covered by insurance. Hard to get appointments that don't conflict with school, impossible to reschedule. Parents usually not allowed in back. Consult for orthodontics stated that they could not guarantee childs teeth would be perfectly straight. Was on call list for cancelled appoints and had only one call in 4 months

When my now 13 year old son was 3 I took him to my dentist (no longer my dentist) and the hygenist was so hard on his gums and so unfriendly he was scared of going to the dentist. I called Dr. Tracht's office upset and they were wonderful. My kids LOVE going to the dentist -the staff is warm and friendly and they know how to talk to and treat kids. I drive from Waterford now that we moved and would drive hours for this dentist - they are FANTASTIC!!! I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a good dentist for their children.

I have two daughters ( ages 14 & 9 ) and they ABSOLUTLY love going to Dr Trachts office........its extremely relaxing and most importantly the staff is GREAT!!!!!!!!!

Dr. Tracht (and his colleagues) are wonderful pediatric dentists. My two children have seen him since we moved here 5 years ago. They have never complained about any pain, they are distracted during any procedures with games and music. The assistants that sit with them while waiting for the dentist are kind, caring and patient. The office is bright and cheery, the receptionists are friendly. Wait time upon entering the office is very brief. If you desire, you can go back with your child and sit near them during any procedures. All fillings are done with white bonding material, so they are not noticeable. They take a wide range of insurance, ours have changed a few times and they have been very helpful making sure we are covered. They always let you know ahead of time how much dental work will cost you (out of pocket).

Amazing facility and personnel. I was referred by my sister who thinks Dr. Tracht is amazing. The first time my son visited the office, he was 5 and needed a root canal. As soon as he went to the back area (all open, no walls) he was given a gameboy and told to pick out a game. This is how they relax the kids, they distract them with video games (very smart!) For every procedure (x-ray, etc.) my son was able to choose a little trinket (very small toys). He came out with a full bag and all smiles. The office staff also handled me very well. I felt guilty about the root canal, and was extremely anxious about my son feeling any pain. They told me where to sit and when to change places and strategically removed me from earshot . My son is now 7 and still loves to go to the dentist, all he thinks about is the gameboy, that is truly amazing. He seems to have no fear of the dentist, even after a root canal and a few fillings. This place really rocks! If they took adult patients I would go here.

Staff works well with patients.It Seems like the dentist doesn't make time for parents and frowns on them being in back with their child.
Unaware of parents time! Runs over and makes patients wait to long in chair for treatment. My child had to be numbed twice, the first time he felt like he wasn't numbed right or he waited to long before starting on my child. Staff is great with being aware of time managment, but Dr makes them wait for him.
