Terrible experience. Long wait, unprofessional communication, rude and overall failure to provide adequate care. Beth , the office manager, is a special kind of failure. Do yourself a favor and run, don't walk, away.

She is the most arrogant "professional" ever. I thought it was important to have a pediatric dentist. I was completely wrong. Now that I have switched to another local dentist, I also am paying less for fillings. I have insurance and filling a cavity was costing me double with Dr. Mullen, compared to what I am paying now. Dr. Mullen became highly indignant when I was aggravated over the 2 1/2 hour wait for one cavity to be filled. No one, including Mandy the receptionist came out to let me know I was in for a ridiculous wait. I watched 7 families come and go! When I inquired, I was told that my child was not numb yet.I texted my daughter who was in the chair waiting and she said she hadn't even been seen yet. When I mentioned to the dentist that this wait meant my daughter would not be able to attend her scout meeting, she reminded me it wasn't my daughter's fault. Duh! It was Mullen's fault, but her arrogance wouldn't let her apologize. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL DR AND OFFICE.

The "operations" manager, Katie from the Lansdale office is rude. I have used the Hanover office since my son was 7 & never so much as raised my voice despite having to wait 2 hours past our appointment several times for Dr. Mullen. I didnt complain when they called cell phone & cancelled our appointment as I was pulling into the parking lot with my son & had taken half a day off work due to an emergency for Dr Mullen. Then 1 day I had an issue with a bill for orthodontics. I had to send a fax to get someone to call me. Recently I had to cancel my son's appointment but I have tried 2x now to reschedule & got the answering service & left messages. Katie didnt seem to care. Apparently I wasnt calling at the right time and that they cant possibly follow up on all the patients because they have thousands of them. So now my son is 1 of thousands but when they wanted to stick braces on him he was special. Nice. Katie told me she knows who I am &remembers my fax. So I guess the story here is dont make waves, sit like a good girl and dont make Katie mad. she tiold me I can call Hanover to make an appointment-oh cant. Why? Katie said their phone lines are down. Wow. Thanks Katie. Unfortunatley wont be back after this ortho treatment.

Dr Mullen and her staff were absolutely amazing with my daughter. My daughters teeth were horrible and required an OR to be booked to fix them all. They were always kind and courteous, never rude! They always found a way (even though they were overbooked) to fit her in the schedule. They are an awesome team and if insurance allows I will be taking all of my 7 children to her. (even though it is a 45 minute drive) Thank you, Dr Kathleen Mullen, and your team, for being so wonderful to our family! :)

We were extrememly disatisfied with this very rude office. At our first appointment we waited (w/ 2 kids under 4) for over an hour and then again for the Dr. to come in. We were told that we had to book the second visit weeks out so they had all our pre-certs and new all was covered(which it was).
At our second visit, we were to have cavities filled they tried to charge us an additional $125.00 fee for liability plus my co-pay. I called United Concordia (they were great). My insurance has a contract with them and a fee like that is against the contract and not allowed. They would not get on the phone w/ the insurance, had me wait an hour for an office manager that never showed (all with a 4 year old that had not eaten and a 1 year old). I eventually left in tears. The office is also dirty. AVOID this office!!

My daughter had a cavity filled. We waited in the office for an hour and a half before being seen. Then, Dr. Mullen was rude and told me how my daughter could not sit still and I had to pay $125 dollars not nitrous every time she gets work done or the doctor will not see her.

She was mean and arrogant, spent more time chatting with her employees about how great she is rather than tending to the patients in the waiting room. When my son was not cooperating she said she would force it in his mouth while her assistant would hold him down, it was then that we walked out.
