Read Reviews for Dr. Laji James
Dr. James is THE best! My daughter can be a pill when she doesn't want to do something. She was terrible at our last dentist. But she LOVES Dr. James and Kim their hygienist. They are really nice people with a great office and system in place for kiddos!
About Front Desk: Melissa and Brian at the front are great. They always accommodate our scheduling issues.

Dr. James was recommended by my daughters' pediatrician. They started seeing him when they were 18 months old. Their teeth are in great shape because of great treatment.

I was referred to Dr. James by my dentist. She said I needed a "specialist" for my son's "extreme anxiety." I was really worried what was going to happen. His staff was awesome at relaxing my son, Tim. Now Tim looks forward to seeing the dentist and getting his teeth cleaned. I personally really liked Dr. James because he didn't talk down to me and he shared his own stories about his children. It has been a wonderful find.

Excellent, friendly staff who actually motivated both my young children to take care of their teeth! I don't have to force them to brush; they actually insist on it before they go to bed. I've been very impressed with their ability to work with the kids in such a way that they can get the work done (cleaning, x-rays, fillings) with the children happily cooperating.
The only downside from my point of view is the cost, which only became an issue when my 5 year old needed fillings. Compared to the price that my (non-pediatric) dentist charges for fillings, Dr. James costs approx. 3 times as much out of pocket (i.e. after insurance adjustments). For example, I got 5 fillings from my dentist, and the out of pocket cost was $233. The price for 1 filling in my 5 year old? $150 without sedation fluid (sedation fluid makes the child akin to being intoxicated; without sedation fluid, they use nitrous), $250 with sedation fluid. I'm willing to pay it, but I feel the pinch in my wallet.

THE ENTIRE STAFF WAS SO FRIENDLY. THEY WERE ACTUALLY TALKING TO MY DAUGHTER AND MADE HER FEEL LIKE A PERSON INSTEAD OF JUST A PATIENT. THE KIDS GET TO WEAR COOL SHADES WHILE THEY GET THEIR TEETH CLEANED (TO BLOCK THE BRIGHT LIGHT). THEY TEACH THE CHILDREN ABOUT HEALTHY TEETH. ONE OF THE LADIES SAID THEY WANT THE KIDS TO FEEL LIKE THEY ARE GOING TO TOOTH SCHOOL - NOT THE DENTIST!!!
TWO THUMBS UP!!!
