I've been a patient of Dr. Thomas' for several years now. He was referred to us by The head of Denistry at Cleveland Clinic. He is extremely knowledgeable, gentle and is always ready and willing to see us or call OSU or other periodontist if he thinks a second opinion is necessary. He follows up on his patients even calling after surgeries to see how we are doing. His staff is great and very helpful and polite. I have had several gum grafts and several biopies. He is gentle but very thorough. I have great respect for him and always know I'm in very capable hands when he works on me or refers me to other doctors.

I highly recommend Dr. Thomas. What impressed me most was the way he explained the procedure--both in person and in writing--and explained the pros and cons of all options. His concern was with long-term health, not with doing as many (expensive) procedures as possible, and he warned me off some procedures that other oral surgeons had recommended. He's friendly and human, as well as competent and professional. I recommend him highly.
