I needed a routine extraction done and I chose her office because she was close to downtown and my fantastic insurance covers even out of network doctors. I filled out all of the paperwork and sent my insurance information in several weeks before the surgery. However, when I got there it was as if this is the first time the staff had seen it. I was reassured that everything would be submitted properly and I shouldn't worry. Well, first, there was confusion on why I was there that day, so what should have been 2-1/2-3 hours took nearly 5 hours while I waited on her other appts. Then, Dr. Munne came in and proposed a $3000+ plan for treatment. When I refused, she back-tracked and said that we could wait on some portion, which would save $500. I feel that a good doctor would have presented all cost options upfront. Next, I believe that she fully knew my insurance wouldn't pay for 90% of the stuff she wrote up, so she demands payment up front for the extraction AND follow up appointments which aren't to be provided for several weeks out. Then, after several weeks I called to ask why they hadn't filed the claim - they 'forgot'. Overall, I was and still am furious. I would NOT recommend that anybody do business with her.

About Hygienist: They hygienist, Amanda....WOW! Absolutely the best I've ever seen! I highly recommend this practice!

I have been going to Dr. Munne for about 10 years. She did my gum surgery for recession and it was very successful. She also does my cleanings and check-ups every 3-4 months. She is very professional, knowledgeable, and her work is painless. It is a very pleasant, relaxing atmosphere. I highly recommend her services. Her pricing is in line with other Dentists doing the same thing. She is very honest and her staff is equally as pleasant.

She implanted a bone chip about 10 years ago, and it was successful. She has removed some gum pockets with pretty consistent success. She is a medical doctor as well as a dentist / periodontist so I expect a somewhat higher cost structure. My only problems have been related to insurance processing. They require payment at time of service and normally send request to insurance ... there have been problems with insurance processing and follow up ... so customer service in that regard could be better. Dental Hygienist is spotty ... some good some not so good over the long haul. I have been going to her for over ten years so she is good enough to keep me as a patient.
