Dr Hansen is quite experienced, has excellent bedside manners and though he is expensive and requires you to pay upfront - you can trust him.
He always tries to save your teeth rather than just get rich. Front desk is quite helpful too.

Dr Hansen has been very kind and any proceedures have been well explained and with good results. Since I am very afraid of the dental proceedures, he would help me and give me extra time and explain exactly what he was doing. He also does not rush you into dental work that is not needed. He is a very special man and very well respected in his field.
He also has a good staff who got me in yesterday ( last minute), when I was concerned that my night guard that Dr Hansen made was rubbing against one small area of my gums, I was seen right away and the doctor adjusted it and now I am happy. Other dentists have refered me to him for his medical expertise and customer service now I know why.

W Peter Hansen has taken care of my teeth for twenty years. Although my mouth unfortunately presents some significant challenges, Dr Hansen has helped me keep thirty teeth fully functional and pain-free (I've needed just one root canal, and one wisdom tooth had to be pulled). He helped me keep a nice smile in spite of many extensive restorations - none of which has ever required any attention after he performed them.
Personally, he is gracious, thoughtful, attentive, and respectful. Technically he is an artist and a perfectionist. On the two occasions when I had dental pain, he saw me and resolved matters immediately. His charges are reasonable, and he is quite agreeable to discussing them in advance. I am very fortunate to have been referred to him when he first opened his office on the Peninsula.
I don't have dental insurance, so I can't comment on that, but the billing has always been prompt, accurate, and clear. The hygienists have always been thorough and very professional.

Dr. Hansen is a genius, in my opinion. You won't find a nicer, more compassionate doctor at his level of expertise. His staff is equally excellent.
