Read Reviews for Dr. Frank Greider
I was referred to Dr. Grider by oral surgeon. I am needing extensive work from an injury 19 years ago.
I think Dr. Grider's probably a great practioner, but customer service is the worst. I went for the initial exam. When scheduling my 2nd visit, we tentitively set a date. We agreed I could call back before 4 once I checked my day-timer for conflicts. I called back immediately to reschedule. I then got a bill in the mail for $150 for a no-show appt.-highlighted in red! Unbelievable!
I went back nonetheless to begin the work. Just prior to him starting, I questioned the necessity of one proceedure. I believe that hit a cord with him. He started with a root canal. While in the chair, said he was "just going to do another root canal" on a tooth that had already been done years before. I was charged $700 extra! This was never written up in the quote. He hurt my not once, but 3 times. I asked for gas and he wanted to charge me $800 every 1/2 hr when the going rate is $80 per hr. I feel that he is out for the almighty $$$ without considering how the patient is treated. As a marketing specialist, I'm appalled that someone in the service industry can treat customers with such disrespect. They won't file dental ins.

Lovely office, very responsive front desk staff who remember you and go out of their way to help. Contrary to another reviewer, I find Dr. Greider's wife to be warm and helpful. Both of them made an emergency trip to his office one saturday morning to see me for a cracked tooth. (She did the dental assistant work that day.)
He did my dental implant >10 years ago. It still looks wonderful, as do my veneers. (He "underpromised" but "overdelivered" on their durability - still intact after 10 years.) He spends exceptional care on pain relief, his follow up is excellent. He personally calls patients the next day to check on them. His hygienists are also always professional. The office runs like clockwork, but that's because he won't make scheduled patients wait if some other patient happens to be very late for their appointment.

Great dr., great staff, unfortunately he has a very loud and very unprofessional wife who works in the office. She behaves as if she is out at the bar rather than in a place of bussiness. I felt very uncomfortable waiting to see the dr. I heard things that were probably not ment for anyones ears. This just added to the anxiety that I already felt. As most of us are not real fond of going to the dentist anyway. So therefore I ask before I schedule an appointment," When is Mrs. Greider most likely to be out of the office?". I have numerous friends and family members who have used him for about fifteen (15) years and we all think he is the ABSOLUTE BEST, but we all have the same feelings about "the wife". I do know some of them have gone elsewhere because of her. It's really a shame because he is a very nice man and a fantastic dentist. Thanks to him I have a beautiful, beautiful smile :) If you can get an appointment early in the morning you are more likely to not have to encounter "the wife". This is from years of trial and error.
