First visit-nice. 2nd visit-very rude, rough. I informed staff before visit I could not open my mouth wide and concerned about temporary fitting. He forced open even though I was crying out in pain, had tears down my cheeks, lifting my leg up trying to get his attention. He stated I needed a mouth guard. Told him I could not afford it. He told me if I would not go to Vegas and gamble maybe I could afford it. My financial problems are not from me going to Vegas 2 years ago but from an autoimmune disease. Third and last visit, he was rude, rough. I had already decided at the 2nd visit never to go back but already paid for what I thought was crown balance. Third visit I told him what I thought and thought I was done with this ordeal, even though still have pain and I think damage from forcing my mouth on the 2nd visit. Received bill for another $400 as insurance not pay for crown on molar. Insurance co says provider never called to verify benefits or they could have notified me of this. Provider gave me an estimate up front, they were $400 off. STAY AWAY FROM THIS FRAUDULENT PRACTICE

My Experience: Crown

Horrible dentist! Don't go to him! I either have to live with the sorry work or spend more with a reliable dentist to have it re-done. (i.e. Root canal is sensitive and the crown is glued on crooked) Absolutely nothing he did on my teeth was done correctly. Extremely expensive and used up all my insurance for the year and then put great pressure and scare tactics on me to borrow money or use credit to pull what turned out to be a perfectly good tooth and to get a night guard. (New dentist had to smooth out "ledges" on fillings on my top side teeth and has mentioned nothing about me needing a night guard.)

About Front Desk: First rude clerk was no longer there after 1st visit, but the second one did alot of "whispering" in asking why I was leaving when I went to collect my xrays for the new dentist.

Front desk:

Hygiene rating:

About Hygienist: She did great work but supported him on his quest to have unnecessary work done.

Hygiene time: 20

Dr. Reinitz did a root canal for me in 2009. Had pain since he did it. Told me my teeth were separating from my jaw bone per the dark line between my teeth and gumline - that scared me . Kept calling the office about the pain but all they would tell me was that he looked at the xrays (which were taken at the time of treatment) and that there was no problem. . Lived with the pain for about a year because I retired and he wouldn't see me after that cause my insurance changed. I finally found a good dentist that sent me to an endodontists. He told me the black line was due to infection I had and the other black lines were normal!!! Unfortuneately, my tooth was cracked so root canal was doing no good.

About Front Desk: Were very good until I had a problem. Kept asking to talk to the Dr. about helping to pay for a crown that he broke and they said he won't do it because of the age of the crown. But I never talked to the dr. Insurance wouldn't pay because the crown was not 5 years old. Talked to my insurance and they recommended I ask the dentist to pay for half. But his office kept saying, he wouldn't pay.

About Hygienist: Never wanted to go for a cleaning because of the pain.

Had multiple failed root canals between my wife and I. Will not stand behind his work. Will recharge you when his work fails. Does not consider fillings a worth while effort, does not make enough money on fillings. Only interested in root canals and expensive reconstructive work. When his root canals failed in less than 2 years will send you to a "specialist" because he knows insurance will not pay again on the same tooth. Bill is ALWAYS more than he quotes.

My husband and I have been extremely disappointed with the overall service we have received. The cleanings by the hygienist were terrible, my teeth felt no different from before. My husband recently had a cavity filled by Dr. Reinitz and had terrible tooth pain (which he did not have before) immediately after the fill was done. He went back a couple of weeks later to have the fill corrected only to have the Dr suggest that it was my husband's fault for "chipping" the fill. Dr. Reinitz attempted to correct the fill, but my husband can still feel pain in that particular tooth. My husband has called the office asking for another appointment to correct the problem, but the staff has been snippy and even evasive with scheduling an appointment. At one point, the staff member suggested that my husband may be grinding his teeth and is causing the problem. The Dr. and his staff have to come up with excuses instead of admitting a shoddy job was done to begin with. The important thing is that the tooth get fixed, but the lack of customer service is making it impossible. We have already scheduled appointments with a new dentist at the beginning of the year.

About Hygienist: Nice person but poor customer service.

In my opinion, Dr. Reinitz has an overbearing personal manner, and seems to be inclined to "push" customers into treatment. His office is well equipped with very modern dental equipment such as digital X-ray machines and miniature digital dental video cameras. In my experience, services provided by his office have always been prompt and pain-free.

After making sure that this office took my insurance I made an appointment for the following week. Everything seemed ok at first, nice equipment and stuff but after I got my filling they told me they didnt take my insurance and I had to pay in full. They should have told me that before I got the filling, I could have saved a lot of money.

Dr. Reinitz is a very kind and nice person. As a dentist he pays attention to detail and cares about his patients. As far as the treatment result goes !, I got the best front crowns! they look as my natural teeth. He was the only dentist after seeing 4 dentists before that gave me the cosmetic results that I wanted. I highly recommend him.he is an expert !!
