Read Reviews for Dr. Scott Palmer
I had been with this practice for many years because he was close to home. I have 4 crowns which he is responsible for doing. Two of these have chipped and the front one will not stay on. Every time it needs to be reset he charges me. This happens about every six months. I feel like his cash cow. I have now moved and have to find someone to reset my front tooth again. Do not waste your money. Try to find someone else.

Dr. Palmer did veneer work on my upper teeth and from the beginning it has been a nightmare. I had to wear the plastic teeth for several months. The first set of veneers cae back dark and very large. (They were worse then false teeth) I had to again wear fake plastic teeth for 2 weeks while he tried have them made somewhere in California. These are teeth that I have now. I never have been happy about them. At the time I was just tired of dealing with having plastic temps., and compared to the temps these were tolerable. I don't smile like I used to. My teeth also were shaved down so much that the veneers do not stay on, I have spent over $300 having them put back on by another dentist. Also I have just found out that the "stubs" of teeth under my veneers have severe decay. I have no idea what I am going to do.

Great dentist office. I don't have any major problems so I usually don't spend a lot of time with the dentist. The hygentists are always friendly and very professional. The office is clean and well maintained.

My family went to Dr. Palmer for a year and our experiences were not good. I was always treated very rudely by the darked haired receptionist and friends who were also patients there said the same thing so I didn't take it personally. I had to have a crown replaced and I was not told of the cost before the procedure. I guess I should have asked too. My previous dentist, Joan Loehr, did a very good job explaining how much procedures cost and offered billing and payment options. Not so with Dr. Palmer. I needed to pay the $400 (after insurance) the same day. I didn't plan for that expense but not a big deal. However this IS a big deal to me. My daughter went in to have a cavity filled and was so upset that they couldn't give her the shot so we left. They said it would be fine to wait for her next check up. MONTHS later when our next appointments rolled around, instead of getting a reminder in the mail we got a cancellation. Our appointments were cancelled because we didn't pay the $24 due at the time of my daughters nightmarish cavity filling appointment. Couldn't they just ask for the $24 at the time of our check ups???? They had no trouble asking for money any other time.

I too have been a patient of Dr. Scott's for a number of years. I often question why I have stuck around as long as I have. I don't feel he explains his procedures well. I had to have a crown done after a root canal and I was never told of the cost before it was performed, maybe it was my place to ask. But I feel if the Dr is concerned with his patients happiness he should take the extra 3 minutes to go over what I will be responsible for. So back to my question as to why I have stayed, one it is located in the town I live in and is convenient. The other is his STAFF. He has 2 hygienest in particular that make it worth the hassle. I won''t say their names but they make us feel like family. "T" i will call her goes out of her way to ask about my life and I like that she remembers me for me and not just another butt in her chair. The other "K" is very high spirited, she is a magician with children and my kids will see no one else. His assistants are great, they are very reassuring and do a great job explaining things, which I feel should be the Dr's job. I think they realize his inadequacies. I found his front office staff to be wonderful. They also make it feel like a family and that's the only reason we stay.

My family started with Dr. Scott's dad 15 yrs. ago. Dr. Scott is a good dentist, but I feel like he has become more concerned with getting his money than providing good service. I had a cavitey go bad after 1 year and he fixed it but charged me another $120. that I had to pay out of my pocket. Shouldn't his work last longer? When I asked him, he was rude, defensive and arrogant. I am unsure whether we will cont. services with Dr. Scott in the future. Has any one else had problems with his work?

My family and I started seeing Dr. Palmer about 2 yrs. ago after he did my daughter's orthodontic treatment. Through the whole braces process he and his assistants were extremely patient and infomative with both me and my daughter. After the pleasant way we were always treated during that, I decided I would bring the whole family over for our general dentistry needs. I feel like one of the family every time I walk through the doors. The ladies at the front are very friendly and the nurses in the back are too. Dr. Palmer is so great, he's just like "the guy next door". The only negative I have to say is that we've been rescheduled 2 or 3 times already because Dr. Palmer went out of town, but this office is worth that small inconvenience to our family! I highly recommend this dentist.
