I originally found Dr. Kim for Invisalign, but ended up having two crowns done following removal of some old fillings. The crowns have worked out well, but the Invisalign has not, and I don't feel that she actually was very interested in this....her answer to most problems was to shave down my teeth some more, and I finally left to find another Invisalign dentist, that doesn't use an intra-tooth dremel tool in their practice. My molars still don't mesh correctly and the 'retainers' that I was given caused my teeth to overlap, almost like they were meant for someone else. The office staff were very nice, but didn't seem to communicate with Dr. Kim well, leaving me with the feeling that I had to organize the front office and doctor to manage my care.
About Hygienist: The hygenist(s) were generally great, but changed almost every time I was there.....high staff turnover.

Originally wanted Invisalign to correct a misaligned bite that I thought was causing my teeth grinding problem. Dr. Kim told me Invisalign would be helpful in correcting the bite and was told it would take one year. One year later, I went to my original dentist and he told me my bite was still off and was nowhere near decent. He then told me that Invisalign wouldn't be helpful in correcting a bite and that regular metal braces would be needed. I feel Dr. Kim mislead me about the usefulness of Invisalign in correcting my bite problem. I spent over $5700 and have nothing to show for it. In addition, the customer service I felt was poor. Though Dr. Kim herself was pleasant enough, her dental assistants were oftentimes passive-aggressive in their comments and actions (e.g. asking me if they were bothering my sleep when they call me at 2 p.m.), etc. Lastly, I had told them months in advance when I would need to have my treatment taken care of but they have my last visit scheduled past the date. I will be out of the state by then and will need to schedule my final visit months later.
