The tooth was an upper molar and should have been surgically extracted (ie cut in half) so that each side could easily have been extracted. I was left with displaced bony material which will necessitate oral surgery if I ever get dentures. He worked for 45 solid minutes trying to extract the tooth.
He also made a partial for me which he said involved reshaping a perfectly good crown. This loosened the post of the crowned tooth next to it, causing it to need extraction because I was so disgusted with the whole experience that when I went to my former dentist three months later, it was too late to recement it back in. Since the tooth I lost was an anchor for the partial, it no longer fits. The partial also had a front tooth which came unglued several times.
Dr. Adams is a lovely person and I think he does not mean to do harm, but I believe I was his patient to my detriment

Disorganized, unprofessional, and terrible customer service. I had xrays done by Dr. Adams 2 years ago, and I called to have them released to another dentist. They told me they would be unavailable for a week since they flip flop between offices. THEN they told me they LOST the xrays completely!! My insurance won't cover it for another year so I'll have to pay out of pocket. The receptionist Jean lied about following through; she was lazy and indifferent about the whole situation. What kind of place are they running!?!

I had a crown done by Dr. Adams and I was not very satisfied by it. The temp crown broke the same day it was done. The permanent crown wasn't done properly and since it didn't fit, he blamed it on my tooth shifting. He put a spacer in for 2 days and then put the permanent crown in and now I have a nice gap there at catches everything I eat.
About Hygienist: The hygienists were great before, but I came in one day and they were all replaced by hygienists that were all obviously fresh out of school. They were nice, but were not very thorough and their lack of experience was so apparent it did not make me feel comfortable.

Chair side manner is excellent, you instantly feel comfortable with him and confident in his ability.
I have not experienced any pain, and had a large filling completed and a root canal.
His staff is so polite and caring. You can't feel anything but assured that you are in great hands.
If he were in network with the insurance I would say all was perfect.

Everything is perfect about Dr. Peter Adams and his staff. The hygienists and office staff are accommodating, friendly and efficient.
Recently I had a toothache become severe on a Friday afternoon. Dr. Adams opened his office after hours and scheduled my root canal to coincide with conflicts in my schedule. To me, that's way beyond the call of duty!

Outstanding, cannot say enough about Dr. Adams and his staff. As soon as I walked in the door and talked to their ofice manager it felt like I was talking to family. The procedures were explained and the cost was fair. The assistants were smiling at all times and very professional. Dr. Adams was very careful in explaining what I needed and how it would be accomplished. My mouth was literally in bad shape until I came here. Highly impressed with the service and professionalism of the staff.
