Dr. Malone never suggest anything. (Teeth whitening, straightening, etc...)
About Front Desk: Very rude, doesn't talk at all. Never answers the phone. When you leave a message she never returns phone calls.
About Hygienist: Never says anything.

Practices 19th century dentistry with a specialty in extraction (as in extracting money from your wallet).
The cleaning: this guy did not even have running water or suction at the chair! (or he chose not to use it). After he picked around at my teeth for about 15 min, he told me to go rinse out my mouth in the bathroom. The whole procedure (exam, x-rays, cleaning, paperwork, etc) took 30 min. All his equipment was very old and made of yellowed plastic.
X-rays: I had no cavities walking in his office, and I walked out with three cavities that needed immediate drilling. My subsequent dentist (of course I did not return to Dr. Malone's office) could only find one cavity, and it was not far along enough to require drilling.
Billing: Somehow my x-rays and cleaning (which are covered completely by my insurance) cost me $40. They would not budge with this. I think they billed my insurance something like $400, and told me how lucky I was not to have to pay full price.
Summary: He seemed to be a gold-digger (maybe I should say gold-driller?). He was definitely practicing old fashioned dentistry where the only way he knew to get money out of his patients was to drill, baby, drill. Coworkers gave me similar reports of Dr. Malone.
About Front Desk: No real problems here, unless you count all the "creative" billing.

Dr. Malone provides all of his own work, no Hygienist in this office. No seperate appointments for Cleaning and Exam. This office is cares about your time. Wait time in office is very little. They do not over / double book. He will not recommend some treatment that is expensive until all other possibilites are exhausted. This office is small by comparison. It is the Doctor, his assistant and front desk. If you are looking for real one on one relationship with an office this is it.

Dr. Malone does an excellent job. He is mild mannered but don't think he doesn't know the latest techniques and what is going on. He is a knowledgeable and resourceful dentist. He does very good work and he makes sure that it works properly. His staff is also able and really good. His office manager can be a bit abrupt but she always has a smile and is very helpful and polite. His assistant is very conscientious and having worked with Dr. Malone a long time, she knows what is needed and to be prepared. My treatment from Dr. Malone was and has been excellent. The crown fits well and he was able to fill cavity without a problem when I thought it might need a crown. He also abides by what the insurance company pays. I also feel he treats patients properly by not over inflating the number of procedures to get the job done.

Thus far I've only required routine cleanings, but I couldn't ask for a better experience.
I was very satisfied with all aspects of Dr. Malone's practice, from his receptionist, his facility, to the doctor himself.

Dr. Malone is very friendly and has great chair-side manner. The procedures (fillings) I have had have been very close to completely pain-free. I would recommend Dr. Malone to anyone seeking a new dentist.

Excellent Dentist, Good sense of Humor, no pain except for having to pay at all. Chair side manner excellent. Front Desk is effecient..
He is better than he thinks he is. He refers to other Orthodontist when he could do it just as good. I have confidence in him.
