Dr. Edward Gottesman is a board certified Periodontist with a private practice in Manhattan. He also maintains a part time faculty appointment as a Clinical Assistant Professor at the Department of Periodontology and Implantology at the School of Dental Medicine at Stony Brook. He has lectured nationally to his peers on a minimally invasive gum grafting procedure for the treatment of receeding gums and on sophisticated bone grafting techniques for dental implants. Additionally, by using state of the art regeneration techniques and materials, Dr. Gottesman has succesfully saved and maintained teeth for patients with severe periodontal disease. Recently, he has gained media attention for his cosmetic procedures to correct "gummy" smiles. His office is located in a town house on the upper east side of Manhattan.
