Quite possibly the WORST customer service and concern for patient well-being I have ever received. In mid-September I had what amounts to a dental emergency when an old crown fell out and based upon a recommendation, attempted to schedule an examination with Dr. Ferguson. Four calls and voice messages left later I finally reached someone in the office who either cared nothing about his patients or knew ZERO about dentistry.
I scheduled an appointment for 8AM on 9/14/2015 due to a busy day. I was left waiting for TWO HOURS! After the initial exam, Dr. Ferguson spent 90 seconds with me and said they would put a temporary crown on and then a permanent one - but I need to come back. After he left the exam room the dental tech told me that was a terrible idea and that I should make sure to have him take another different type of x-ray, and have a different procedure scheduled!!! So I did.
The day before my next appointment (10 days later - did I mention this tooth was KILLING ME?) the same super-friendly office person calls me to say they will not do my treatment without prior insurance OK. I told them I would pay cash/credit, etc. She said this is not how they operate. We are now close to three weeks since my first call(s). A week later I send the Dr. Ferguson - to his personal email - the letter stating that my insurance will pay for everything. This is on Monday, 10/5/2015. No response. I resend on Thursday, 10/8/2015. No response. I call today and find out they received it, never bothered to respond via email, call, smoke signal, etc. I am beyond livid.
This is a clear case of some guy that has enough of a client base to be fat and happy and not care about new business nor more importantly, someone that has a massive toothache for CLOSE TO A MONTH!!!
Bad customer service. Bad dentistry. Bad people in general. I think I would recommend tying your tooth to a door handle and slamming the door. Stay AWAY.

Simply incompetent. I don't have any other words to describe this dentist. I've been a patient for 8 years and recently discovered the teeth problems I pointed out to him a few years ago, which he totally dismissed as nothing to worry about, turned out to be serious issues. One tooth had a very deep decay which is so obvious from the x-ray. The other one has a big decay under the crown root line. When I first discovered the black spot (yes this one you don't even need x-ray to see!), he told me it was just gum recession and not to worry. Now the decay went underneath the crown and I will have to redo the crown! During my routine checkup, he NEVER looks at the x-rays with me. He only pokes my teeth quickly (less than 1 minute) and declares everything is fine. I don't think he even looks at the x-rays at all. When I saw a new dentist recently he thought I hadn't seen any dentist for a long time, given the amount of obvious problems with my teeth. If this is not incompetence and negligence, I don't know what it is. I also had a very bad experience with a crown he put in. His service was so poor that it left me with bite pain for months! He never thoroughly examined the tooth and the crown or explained anything to me.
About Front Desk: The main front desk lady, who is the wife of the dentist, came across as rude and unprofessional, when you in need to transfer x-rays to other dentist offices etc.

I love Dr. Ferguson. He is very personable and the staff is very nice and knowledgeable.

I was in need of a dentist bad!!! A close friend of mine told me to give a call to Dr. Ferguson & boy am I glad I did. Understanding the pain I was in he managed to get me in & taken care of & even scheduled a follow up appointment to check my status. Thank you Dr. ferguson for taking me out of my misery. I will be back!!!

DR. Max is a wonderful dentist, and I would recommend his office without reservation. I find the front desk extraordinarily kind, thoughtful and attentive and the hygenists without fail to be thoriough and gentle. Our entire family sees Dr. Max!

I feel very fortunate to have found a great dentist !! The office staff is very welcoming and I felt at home and comfortable my entire visit. Dr. Ferguson is personable and he even wrote me a handwritten letter regarding my dental health ! I'm going to recommend Dr. Max to all my friends!!

As a new patient, I was made to feel completely comfortable at Dr. Ferguson's office. Everyone greeted me by name and my insurance was filed promptly! The staff is caring and educational. This is a great office! My entire family has made appointments. I will recommend Dr. Ferguson to all my friends!

The Dentist is an extremely nice and personable man. However his front desk staff Nancy is horrendous! She is stuck up and also hates it when I bring my children in. She makes it abundantly clear that my kids are not welcome there. I am not the only patient to feel this way as I spoke with another patient today. Quit making rude comments to my children! Would be a much more enjoyable experience if she was not there.
About Hygienist: All the hygenists I've ever had are great and also the dentist just having a big problem with Nancy.

Dentist is nice however Nancy is very rude and while this is a family practice she makes it clear children are not welcome. If he gets rid of her I would gladly go back as other patients have the same complaint.
