Dr. Pollack is AMAZING. I had to get a root canal (my first) after my general dentist replaced an old silver filling with a white one (purely for cosmetic reasons too) and didnt explain to me how deep the filling was and how easy it would be for the filling to go too deep and ruin my nerve. Needless to say, I wasn't happy.
Dr. Pollack immediately put me at ease, even though I was incredibly anxious and started crying! He explained everything to me and anwsered all my questions. I was very hard to get numb, but he talked me through each step and kept giving me shots. He is also very gentle and I barely felt any of the shots!
The staff is also amazing. I was in and out in an hour and a half - and it took me forever to get numb! The actual procedure only lasted 30 minutes.

I was referred to Dr Pollock for the treatment of two teeth. One was a new root canal and the other was to retreat an old root canal. My experience was very pleasant. I found Dr Pollock to be very gracious, efficient, and competent. His staff was also very nice. They all worked together as a team. I am a dental phobic and I found this office to be exactly what I needed. The offfice is busy and I can see why. My treatment was a success and I would definitely return if I ever have another issue. Dr Pollock was a ten!!!

I had a root canal on tooth #19. Dr. Pollack did not use a microscope during treatment and therefore could not detect the length of the root canal. The entire canal was not treated causing me to have a retreatment. My insurance company would not pay for retreatment - a cost of $3000.00 to me. When I contacted the office for a remedy I was told that he had reviewed the case notes and there was nothing wrong with the tooth or his work. His practice is not up to currrent standards. He does not accept responsibility for his work or correct mistakes.

I was seen by Dr.Pollock last week for a root canal that was recommended by my general dentist. The staff were very nice and courteous. When Dr.Pollock came in the room, he was very nice and thorough towards explaining the options and the procedure itself. I was very surprised that I didn't even feel anything through out the whole procedure. I would defenitely recommend him to anyone.

Dr Pollock did a great job for me. He has treated my wife in the past and she also really had a great experience . If and when I ever need his services I would only go to him. He was aware of my apprehension and took care to hjelp me through the procedure. I was surprised at how easy he made it seem I have sent several colleagues to him since my experience.

I went for Root canal, as recommended by my dentist.
At the time of appt. I asked for estimated cost. They said they will call em, but never called.
At the time of appt. I again asked for estimate but they didn't give. I do have insurance though.
After treatment, they charged me $46 for 2 visits, for sterilization!. I paid from my pocket as it is not covered by insurance. 2nd visit was quick visit for a follow up xray. Still he charged for Sterilization.
Dr. Pollock rudely refused to waive the fee. Her secretary said that because I sat on the dentist seat, they have to charge me!!
For root canal, I had paid him $1,200 and this is excluding filling. I had to go back to my regular dentist for filling and pay him again.
This system of referral and heavy charges, incl double charges for xray,s consultation fee together with my regular dentist, is total rip off.
I can get root canal in India for 100 dollars and have vacation in the same cost.

Less than two years after I had a root canal performed, it had to be redone, which certainly makes it look as if it wasn't done right in the first place. I don't recall what I paid the first time but to fix my root canal, he charged me $1800.
When it was done the second time, he put me on antibiotics and had me return a week later. When I returned, he didn't do anything but tell me that he wanted me to wait another week. Why waste my time this way? So, I objected to being jerked around and he did it that day, but from the moment I objected to his plan, neither he nor the staff were the least bit nice
As far as the facilities, you'd think that a place that charges so much for their work would not have paint peeling off the heat registers in the treatment rooms. It looks run down.

Dr. Pollock had to perform an emergency root canal on my 11 yo daughter last week. He was amazing. His staff was phenomenal! The whole experience was stress and pain free for my daughter and I was terrified it was going to be a nightmare. He was friendly and talked her through the whole procedure. He kept everyone on task and moving quickly and we were in and out of there in under an hour. I have already recommended Dr. Pollock to all my friends and family for any future root canal or serious dental work.
