Dr. Herbert and her staff are professionals. The staff are nice, friendly and organized. Sometimes the doctor runs behind, mostly they see me quickly, especially the hygienist. They accommodate well when I am in a rush. With exams the doctors are thorough. I get a cancer check each time. I had white fillings placed on a couple of teeth and I feel and look great. My husband received implants and is very pleased. Overall, I am happy with this office, not so with my dental plan.

The last two times I've been, the dentist hasn't even been around to check my teeth after the hygienist is done with my cleaning. They don't allow you to make your next appointment when you are at the office, but force you to call back 3 months before when your next appointment should be. So, inevitably, I forget to call back and have to make an appointment way past the 6 month time frame. In addition to all of this, they have mis-scheduled me twice. I recommend anyone looking for a dentist to pass on this dentist's practice.
About Hygienist: The hygienist, however, has been great since day 1. Still not worth the trouble of this place.

My initial consultation of just x-rays took 2 hours. At my next cleaning appt., it took 1 hour and 5 minutes before Dr. Herbert even started to clean my teeth. I sat in the chair alone for all of that time and no one even bothered to tell me what was going on. I have never been hurt from a cleaning, but she hurt me a lot and my gums bled for several days & were sore for several days after. She seemed to not care and was in a hurry. The hygenist also elbowed me in the face because she wasn't paying attention. The service was the poorest I've ever had and I feel the hour plus waits were a pattern. I highly recommend going to another dentist who will see you in a timely manner, who has polite manners, and who will not scrape and tear your gums until they bleed. The time and pain is not worth seeing Dr. Jennifer Herbert.
