Dr. Rees and his staff made me feel very comfortable. I had a Root Canal and went to work the same day with no discomfort throughout the day. Thumbs up for comfort and a stress free environment. Excellent dentist
About Hygienist: Dr. Rees' assistant, Edward was excellent. He made me feel very conmortable along with Diane their Receptionist. A great team to have.

Dr. Rees is a decent dentist but his accounting department is very lacking. Rarely did they submit to my insurance correctly and neither was my bill which I some times got months later with fees and finance charges added. I eventually got the billing worked out after I left his services. There was a lot of turn around in his support staff and they always tried selling me different products.

The office had their technicians (not the dentist) install my temporary crown which fell out of my mouth and was destroyed THREE TIMES which meant I had to go back to the office multiple times to have a new temporary made and reglued. I believe it took 6 visits to get one crown put in my head. To top it off they didn't tell me my insurance didn't cover non-metal veneers on back teeth so I ended up paying $1700.00 (!!!) out of my own pocket for a really nice crown on my very back tooth. Hmm. The office admin is not up front about costs so you have to KNOW if they are really a provider for your insurance or simply accept your insurance. If they simply accept your insurance that means your insurance hasn't negotiated a price with them and will only pay the "reasonable and customary" portion of the charge. You suck up the rest. Dr. Rees does beautiful work. I can't even find my gumline fills but the cost is ridiculous if he is not an authorized provider on your insurance.

While the teeth-cleaning I received at Dr. Rees's office was excellent (much less painful than I'm used to), he recommended a lot of work that another dentist informed me was not at all necessary. Most unfortunately, his office staff used pressure tactics, as well as provided grossly false information about price differences of dental treatment in other locations after I asked for copies of my records so that I could go to another dentist, which I wanted to do after being suspicious of Dr. Rees's recommendations. After confronting the doctor with these complaints, he denied them and made flatly false statements about the very content of what his staff had said to me. Ironically, when Dr. Rees asked me what I expected froma dentist on my first and only visit, it occurred to me to say that I wanted honesty about what work I needed. I thought I noticed something odd in his reaction at that time, and now I have excellent reason to believe that he was not at all honest with me, but rather attempted to take advantage of me, even knowing that I am a graduate student with little ability to pay for unnecessary dental treatment (he also made no offer to accommodate his pricing to my income).
