The good news: The office, staff and dentist are friendly, professional, organized and it is a lovely, high-tech office with video and snacks and everything. Dr. Bolam works rather slowly, but really goes the extra mile to help her patients.
The bad news: Over the two years or so I saw her, several pieces of work had to be partially or completely redone. Also, she injured my mouth on two occassions. I hung in there and kept seeing her because every other aspect was so great, I had a lot of work to be done, and it is very hard to find a good dentist. Eventually I found another dentist and left this office. I know friends and relatives who have also stuck in there with her, but eventually left.

Faith Bolam's office is extremely friendly and a great atmosphere. Superb service, and you can tell she genuienely cares. State of the art equipment, and comforting from start to end.

i love this dentist! i wish i could still go there, but now i have a HMO. im trying to figure out a way where i can still be able to go to Dr. Bolams office, but its tuff.

I concur with all of the positive things already mentioned in above reviews: comfort, amenities, friendliness, great communication and care. Additionally, they have the most competent and clear office manager I have seen in a dental office, who is accurate and provides me everything in writing at every visit. She makes complex things clear and manageable. Dr. Bolam has superb needle technique and seems to keep abreast of the latest techniques. She will also go far out of her way, such as staying late to do urgent work. The hygienist, Shannon, is top-notch. And, importantly, I can get an appointment in a reasonable time frame.
The several problems, however, have come to outweigh the advantages. Dr. Bolam cut the inside of my lip bad enough that later it swelled and caused a dark bruise on my face. They got some orange chemical on my sweater and blood on another sweater. I am pretty convinced that Dr. Bolam is not thorough in assessing problems with my teeth and has missed seeing or doing something a couple of times until I reminded her. I waded through this morrass of little troubles to see how the dental work held up . . .a total of 4 different repairs have had to be "fixed" . . . so far.

Dr. Bolam and staff are very friendly and helpful. They are all concerned about your level of comfort and always ask 'how you're doing'. The office environment is outstanding with all new equipment including a monitor and tiny video camera to see inside your mouth, comfortable chairs, pillows, blankets, TV's in the ceiling, headphones, nice music playing, fresh bread and cookies made there and a rose to take with you. The waiting room is comfortable with TV, stuff to read and a kids area with video games.
My veneers look great. There were some complications with getting them to fit correctly but this was the fault of the lab that made them, not the Doctor.

Dr. Bolam has a very good chair side manner. I'm a nervous wreck usually, but with her I feel completely at ease. They have tv's in the ceiling and provide you with headphones so it takes your mind off of what they're doing. The only negative thing I have to say about her & her staff is 1) their accounting is horrible. In the past, they've told me that a certain procedure was going to be covered and it wasn't. They bill for the same thing over and over and over again. 2) They did some veneer coating (I'm not sure what it's called exactly) on my upper front teeth and they turned out horrible. they're not smooth and it's chipping off of one tooth. I wish I never would've had them do that. Other than that, I have no complaints.
