For years I have been afraid of the dental work I needed. A friend went with me to my first appointment with Dr. Moheb. Over the last few months, I have seen Dr. Moheb a few times, and I have never felt more comfortable with a dentist than with Dr. Moheb. He is personable, keeps me laughing, comforting, and gentle - most of the time I do not even realize I am having work done. He recommended dental implants - and after discussion, we went ahead with the procedure. The implant procedure was painless and both Dr. Moheb and his staff never left my side. There is no other Dentist for me....I have found the ONE! Finally!

As my mother has gotten older, her teeth have too. They were diseased and discolored, weakened by her long life. After treatment by Dr. Moheb in which she received dentures, she eats and smiles like never before. Her restored confidence and happiness has brought back the strong woman I know my mother to be and could not be more thankful for his work!

With a tooth extracted and mouth opened, he said he would have to do minor sinus augmentation which was not in the treatment plan or estimate. This added $700 to $1500 estimate for extraction/bone graft/implant. In subsequent appointment, he suggested cosmetics treatment plan for upper teeth for $16K !!!!! I almost fell to the floor, almost half the cost of a new sedan. Don't be fooled by his $899 implant ads on tv channel KRON4 http://news.kron4.com/smiles/, he piled up other unnecessary fees later. I consulted 3 other dentists later of this sinus augmentation, all 3 said UNNECESSARY.

He did great job yes it cost money but it was done first class.

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!! BEWARE...!
I went to this office 3 years ago for general cleaning. I had no choice since I had looked for a Dentist for months and couldn't find one I found good references for that took CIGNA Dental. I read some of the reviews and was nervous.. but things went ok although they wanted to clean 1/2 my teeth one day and schedule a 2nd appt to do the rest!
I looked for another CIGNA Dentist and it has been a nightmare. I went back to this office since I really needed a cleaning.
When the Hygienist measured my gaps there were thankfully only 3 teeth with a 6 pocket. I was relieved as she read them out. They presented me with a comprehensive dental plan that included a $95/tooth antibiotic treatment to shrink pockets...NOT be covered by insurance. As a single mom I told the office manager Blanca there was no way I could afford it. I said the 3 teeth with the '6' pockets would be ok.
I returned for the cleaning and the hygienist did all 11 teeth with the antibiotic before I realized what it was. Now they are claiming I owe them the money and lied about giving me xray copies to get a 2nd opinion. They told me they were ready, but when I went refused to give them to me claiming no one called me!
About Hygienist: Excellent. But the front office is horribly ineffiecient and they lie to protect themselves. And apparently Dr. Moheb doesn't care how patients are treated as long as he gets paid.

My whole family go see Dr. Moheb and associates Art Deco Dental in Walnut Creek. and they are all great and patient from the front desk to the dental chair, beautiful dental office, and calm most of all. There is no wait to be seen!!! The best in dental care i will defenetly recommend him.
