Very expensive, was not up front when asked about out of pocket costs, added charges on day of service. Poor treatment from doctor and front office staff.

So far I have had success dealing with Dr. Prabhu. She is pleasant and she has not pressured me to get a crown or a root canal when I know other doctors that would have. Her Carmel Mountain office is newer and nicer than her Escondido office.

I have used Dr. Prabhu for regular check-ups. Her office is new. My checkups have been performed efficient with relatively short waits - less than 10 minutes. Scheduling appointments has also been easy.

I visited Dr. Prabhu on my HMO plan for a regular checkup. There was no warmth on the part of her as a dentist toward patient. She did not communicate what she was doing as she did it. I was simply given an estimate of the work that she claimed needed done. They asked me to sign it right then and there and were going to do the work. I reluctantly signed, but then felt so uncomfortable with the way things were handled that I ended up leaving the office before they could get their hands on me. Would not recommend her.

Our experience with Dr. Prabhu was wonderful. She is one of the best dentists I have ever seen. Both my husband and I were very impressed with her demeanor, knowledge, and skill. I would definitely recommend her services to a friend.
