Office staff were friendly, courteous, and professional... although I thought there might be financially motivating factors for them to recommend certain services to me... they have a very "Hi Tech" office and instruments. I had a cleaning and two fillings done there, both completely painless and quite pleasant. Prices were a little high but competitive for the market (hillcrest). Dr Ortega's bedside manner was the best part of the whole experience though -- a coworker of mine who hates dentists gave him a very hearty recommendation to me because of this. I think one of my resin fillings may have fallen out though so I need to back and get this checked out... if you're afraid of the dentist then this is the guy to go to, they offer sedation dentistry. pretty cool. Bottom line, a nice, friendly and painless dentist to go to but watch your pocketbook and seek a second opinion on any recommendations for more major services.

I have been going to Dr Ortega's office for approximately 4 years now. He is awesome & his staff is extremely friendly! I love it! :)

I am a previous patient of Dr. Ortega and I highly recommend him. The office is nice and the staff is excellent. Wait times were very minimumif any at all. My current insurance doesn't allow me to use Dr Ortega as my Dentist, but if I had the choice I would definetly go back. Proably the best dental office I have gone to in terms of service and care.

MY husband, myself and all of our friends use Dr. Ortega. He has provided excellent care to us for several years now, and I am highly confident of his capabilities. He even helped provide a preliminary idea of a neurological disorder my husband had, which helped us to seek early diagnosis and treatment.
I used our insurance, so I'm not sure how his costs relate to others for the same treatment, but I have not had any issues with the billing or fairness of the amounts he charged. His office staff is also excellent.
