I have been with Dr. Plummer since she took over from Dr. George in 1991. All 27 Years.
I can't say enough about Dr. Plummer who l have enjoyed each and every time. She is Professional, knowledgeable and makes her Patents feel welcomed. The atmosphere feels like. Being with Family Members with compassion.
I will miss Dr.Plummer and wish her the best in Retirement.

I've been seeing Doctor Plummer for over 15 years. She's a pro: her technical expertice is excellent, her staff is professional and her fee is fair. You will not go wrong with her.

She is an ace dentist.....great office staff, relaxed, you never feel rushed and they listen to you. Wish I had started with her years ago. I would recommend her to anyone looking for a dentist.

Dr. Plummer has a warm and friendly chair-side manner. I had dental veneers placed for my front teeth -- the whole experience was great! Everything, from getting me involved in choosing the veneer shade to the dental procedure, went smoothly. Dr. Plummer makes her patients feel involved in every step!
About Hygienist: Dr Plummer's hygienists are good too. My teeth feel super clean at the end. The cleaning is thorough yet gentle. And i always get a supply of floss & toothbrushes at the end !

I've been going to Dr. Plummer since she took over from the previous dentist. She is wonderful, both professionally and personally. She attends to every detail and is in tune with her patients needs. Her assistant, hygienist and receptionist help to make this a great dental team.

Very friendly staff, making the process easy. Luann is absolutely wonderful, as is her hygienist. Snafus with scheduling ("misunderstandings") have somewhat lessened the overall experience.

My wife wrote in about this dentist yesterday. Since then we have had news in the situation. It isn't a cracked molar as she prognosed but, pieces of dead bone sloughing off my jaw bone and through the gum on the inside near my tongue. This apparently is common as you get older. The oral surgeon knew immediately what it was and removed the bone fragments that were actually cutting my tongue by their protrusion. I can't tell you what a relief it is to get rid of this problem and wish it had been correctly diagnosed to begin with. As time has gone by with Dr. Plummer, she cares less and less about patients and more about just getting you in and out as quickly as possible. She has a three chair office and one hygienist that it takes up to six months to get an appointment with. Patient care and oral check-ups which are critical to keeping a healthy smile, are no longer a focus for her and I'm sorry to be loosing her as a dentist. When we first started going to her, I was very pleased and liked her very much, she made me feel like a person instead of a patient. Her staff, facilities and attitude, are now incredibly inadequate for the amount of patients she carries. Thank you for the follow-up posting.

We're searching for a home in Santa Cruz for approximately six months. We leave on Thursday afternoon and come back on Sunday night. My family has been going to Dr. Plummer for many years and we are very dissapointed. Their office is not open on Fridays. We got a call on Thursday after we had already left for an appointment my husband had on Monday. The receptionist asked us to call and and confirm the appointment. As we were not home, we did not confirm. There is also a cell number on our answering service that could have and should have been called as a reminder. We were charged $50.00 for a missed appointment.
A couple of weeks proir to this was Dr. Plummer BD, she was late coming back from lunch. We tried to reschedule and they told us to wait. We waitied for 1/2 hour and I finally left the office as I had a teen that was already late to work. They gave the other teen a ride to her ortho appointment. It is a 24 mile round trip to Dr. Plummer's office. Wasted a lot of gas and time. Should have been called even for the time lost.
My husband now has an impacted wisdom tooth which she completely missed in exam and xray last week. Now the tooth in front has cracked. It will have to be crowned after the extrac

Dr. Plummer is a very talented dentist. Her patient management skills and her outstanding work are the reason I keep coming back. She most importantly can make a patient at ease, which is most important.
