I began as a patient of Dr. Rota's partner and I was happy with those services. After his partner left the practice I stayed with Dr. Rota because it was near my home. Over the past couple of years I have experienced declining service, overselling of treatments and the most pushy and aggressive sales tactics and upselling I've ever experienced. I finally left for another dentist. I signed multiple requests to have my records transferred to my new dentist and all of those have been ignored. When I called to inquire about transferring my records, the staff continued to try and schedule me appointments and ignored my requests for my records. I finally spoke with the office manager and asked about my records. After trying to get me to change my mind and stay with Dr. Rota I was finally very direct and let her know why I left the practice. She became dismissive and said it would be $59 for them to get me a copy of my records. I declined. Even after I left the practice they're still trying to get money out of me. Mind you I would understand this cost if they had to research something. This office is state of art and everything is computerized. I would not rcommend this dental practice unless you like this type of business practice.

I had what was supposed to be veneers on my teeth. During the consultation with Dr Rota and my family we discussed taking a small layer of tooth down and placing a thin veneer on top. What I got was completely grounded down teeth and thick caps, crowns instead. I was shocked when I looked in the mirror and saw what was left of my teeth. I have since had to have root canals. I have learned that this type of trama (grinding down teeth and crowns) can cause this problem. I was NOT informed of this before treatment. Please be careful and make sure you get it all in writing and have a family member or friend if you go in for this procedure.
About Front Desk: I am also disappointed with the staff. Insurance forms were not submitted to my my insurance company. Donna at the desk is dismissive and rude. They keep track of patients when they are late and it stays in your records??, but have changed my appointments as I was driving to the office!

Never have had such a bad experienced before. This dentist is very unprofessional and poor in providing reasonable customer service. This practice needs to be scrutinized because he is not only rude and offensive to the patient, but also humiliating all other practices. He thinks he is the best in the world and other dentists' work are bad. You have to exclusively use his practice otherwise you are forced out. His office has a portrait studio so that he can produce smile gallery to advitise himself as well as to impress others. The way he treated his patient jeopardized his marketing slogan, which is a trap. Be careful.

Very unprofessional! I have been seeing him for some time now for TMJ but he is clueless. He doesn't know how to work his own equipment and has a horrible bedside manner (when he even sees you.) Every time I go there I spend at least 3 hours there and he only pops in for about three minutes, usually just to make an insensitive joke about my pain and then leave. I have finally had it! I would rather pay out of pocket than have TriCare pay him another penny!

Very unprofessional. He seemed offended when I asked questions and suggested that I would like a second opinion, although I said this politely and assured him that his opinion was very valuable to me. He told me to find another dentist!
Definitely would not recommend him.
