AVOID AT ALL COSTS. Making money is her number one priority, not her patients. Charges to fix mistakes that other dentists would do for free. Suggests procedures that other dentists deem unnecessary - probably to meet her quota for the month. For a crown (composite overlay) she used an electronic scanning and milling machine in the office which she barely knew how to function. It was like watching my grandmother try to use the internet. It was truly laughable watching her fumble while pretending to seem like she understood the machine. Having the best toys means nothing if you don't know how to use them.
Also beware of her "smilereminder" profile. It's a dental marketing tool from "SolutionReach." From their website: "The Smile Reminder platform increases revenue, reduces cost, and provides your office time to do what’s most important: care for your patients." Note how increasing revenue and reducing costs are the first things listed.
My biggest gripe to this day is over a small chip that I had on my front tooth when I was 14. I merely wanted it to be smoothed out, but she swooped in at the chance to make some $$$ and slapped on bonding which proceded to chip away and require multiple visits over the years to fix.

I had Dr. Tierney make a crown which was completely mismatched to my existing teeth. She agreed it would need to redone. I was charged for both the first and 2nd cap along with office visits. When I questioned the office manager I was assured that the charges were correct. I subsequently left her practice. Until then Dr. Tierney had been our entire family's dentist. Ultimately this poor business practice resulted in her loss of thousands of dollars in future fillings, check ups, etc.
I also would suggest Christine be careful of her small talk with patients. I was often surprised by her negative commentary about family and other patients. Always wondered what was said about me after I left her chair.
Overall I think there are better places to obtain dentistry services.

Christine is a fine dentist. However, over the years I have come to believe she oftentimes performs procedures that were not necessary. In fact one time she suggested that a procedure hab been requested by another dentist. The other dentist denied that.
I left her!
About Hygienist: Good, but tentative. Nice person, but prefer others.

My entire family has gone to Dr Tierney for the last ten years and we all feel we've been in great hands with her. She takes preventative care seriously so we don't end up needing more serious (and expensive) procedures. She and her staff are always a pleasure to deal with, too.
About Hygienist: Dr Tierney's hygenists are very thorough -- they miss nothing!

Dr. Tierney has served our family for over 15 years and we could not be more pleased with her services or personal touch. Dr. Tierney has a highly professional staff which is very client oriented and responsive to one's needs. From teeth cleaning to whitening to crowns, Dr. Tierney has always done an excellent job. She also maintains a network of outstanding specialists to whom she will refer cases requiring more specialized treatment or surgery. I cannot speak more highly of Dr. Tierney, both as a dentist and wonderful, caring human being.

Great attention to detail, excellent results, perfect experience! I've seen Dr. Tierney for general cleanings, tooth removal, bite problems, chipped teeth, cavities, and every other problem that has come up over the years. When you walk into the office, everyone is friendly and efficient. Dr. Tierney is conscious of how scary seeing the dentist is, and makes sure to make the process easy and painless. I would recommend this dentist to everyone, and will never see anyone else!
