Today I had a root canal with Dr. Lerner. All I can say is WOW! Dr. Lerner is an exceptional endodontist. I'd been going back and forth for about 2 years with a tooth that had a deep filling on it and I was told that I'd probably eventually need a root canal. After putting a temporary crown on it and watching and waiting to see if the pain goes away, it went away for about 2 weeks and then returned. At this point, I was pretty sure I needed a root canal. My uncle just retired as an endodontist and did a root canal for me before, so I knew I needed to find another one. I don't settle for just anybody when it comes to my teeth because one thing I take good care of and invest in are my teeth and my health. I believe you get what you pay for and I don't shop around for deals when it comes to these things. Also, I'd never let a general dentist do a root canal on me. They're not trained in it and shouldn't be doing it. And quite honestly, no offense to the goyim, but I prefer my dentists to be Jewish.
I went online and found Dr. Lerner's excellent reviews, so I gave him a call. From the moment I spoke to his wife Barbara on the phone, I felt comfortable. I told her I'm terrified of dental work and she reassured me that I'm going to the best. I soon learned that she wasn't just saying that because he's her husband, but because he really is the best. She said that she had 5 root canals done by him and never felt a thing. Not to mention he invented many endodontic procedures that are used in every endodontist office today and has impressive education credentials. His reviews on Google speak for themselves. He has people that fly in from all over the world to see him for a root canal. He even worked on Frank Sinatra!
It just so happened that my sister and I needed root canals at the same time, so we went together. From the moment we walked in, we felt like we were in the right place and Barbara is so pleasant and really calms you down. The whole office was so laid back and friendly. I loved their on staff Bichon named Coquette. I'm a dog lover so this really helped calm me down even more. His assistant was able to get x-rays on me with ease on the first try, and it's usually very tough to get them on me. From the moment Dr. Lerner gave me the injection of Novacaine, I didn't feel a thing. He's by far the most gentle dentist I've been to. I could've gone to sleep I was so comfortable and Dr. Lerner was hilarious! He tells jokes as he works to keep you relaxed. But this is the most important thing for me, the numbness wore off 4 hours ago and I have absolutely NO pain. ZERO! I was worried about afterwards because after my first root canal, I had pain afterwards. I've had more pain after a filling than I have from today.
He wasn't the cheapest endodontist around, but I wasn't looking for a deal because I believe that's when you get botched work, I paid $1,500 and it was worth every penny. I really hope I never need a root canal again because I wouldn't wanna go anywhere else when Dr. Lerner retires.

I don't know how to express my gratitude to Dr. Lerner for relieving the extreme tooth pain I was experiencing for several days due to a bad infection. I went to Dr. Lerner because my general dentist was unable to figure out which tooth he needed to do a root canal on and sent me home with extreme pain. I did some research online to find a highly experienced endodontist and Dr. Lerner's amazing wife, Barbara, who works in the office, immediately gave me an appointment considering my condition. Dr. Lerner immediately relieved me from the pain and did an amazing job. He also called me on the same night to check on me. I felt extremely comfortable in Dr. Lerner's hands and would highly recommend him! Thank you Dr. Lerner!!

Let's face it. Who wants to have a root canal? Nobody. But with Dr. Lerner, you are in good, experienced hands. He knows his stuff and you can have total trust in what he is doing. A true expert. His staff is extraordinary. Comforting, caring, reassuring, etc. Total perfection in all aspects. If you have to have a root canal, this is the place to go.
About Front Desk: Fantastic Barbara welcomes and treats you with kid gloves as soon as you walk in the door. Lara, Dr. Lerner's dental assistant, has great rapport with the doctor and quickly establishes rapport with the patient as well.

I had many root canals over the years from different dentists in New York and Florida. Dr Lerner is by far the most competent and knowledgeable dentist I have been to. He is a very caring and compassionate person. I highly recommend him for Endodontic treatment.

Outstanding Endodontist - the Best around! I currently live in Shanghai, China and came back to Boca Raton to visit my family. I had throbbing pain in one tooth and wanted to find the best Endodontist to take care of the problem once and for all. Dr. Lerner's bedside manner is excellent, he explains every step of what he's doing, and I felt ABSOLUTELY NO PAIN at all. He teaches UCLA Endodontics students each year and invented several important endodontics procedures. Dr. Lerner is the best in the field, and I HIGHLY recommend him if you need a root canal!!

I had plenty miles at the dentist chair. But I m sure that Dr Lerners
is one of the best i sat on. I had a root canal that went bad and
he went beyond my expectations , and completed the procedure with the most minimun pain. I highly recommend if you want to save your teeth.

Dr. Lerner has treated my family as well as me. His procedures and treatments have been pain free. His success has been 100% with the treatments we received. His chair-side manners are the best. This past week I suffered with what I thought was root canal pain. New to the area, I relied on the web to give me some insights into Endodontists working in Boca. I saw Dr. Lerner's succinct write up and liked his background and location. But when he called me back within moments of my call to him, I knew he was something special. Most other dentists I called were either closed on Thursdays, not available, at meetings, etc.
Dr. Lerner agreed to see me at 11:30 on the same day I contacted him. The rest is history. His office, which is run by his unbelievably delightful and dedicated wife, was beyond welcoming. His medical assistant, Andrea, was totally professional and reassuring. As things turned out, I had much more of a problem than a simple root canal. For this reason Dr. Lerner worked with me for most of the day in two split sessions, morning and afternoon. His expertise, his knowledge and his sense of humor settled me down in spite of the pain I was in. By the end of the day, I was pain free and, while not out of the woods, quite yet, Dr. Lerner made sure to recommend me to trusted associates for additional treatment.
Never in my life have I met a professional and staff at this level of caring.
