She is a great dentist, mercury free too. She removed my amalgam fillings and replaced with a white filling.

Dr. Cann is kind and easy to talk to about any dental concerns. She took out all of my amalgam fillings and found dental caries underneath them. She handled this with ease and pain free to me.
Our whole family goes to Dr. Cann and I would highly recommend her. She is a biological dentist and knows how to deal with the amalgam removals and how to contain the mercury as it is extracted. She has handled broken teeth, crowns and general dentistry for us. Great staff too!

I now drive over an hour from the North Georgia mountains where I moved 8 years ago to see my dentist, Dr. Roberta Cann and will continue to happily pass by many offices for the care and quality she provides. (Fortunately, I am in great dental health!) Dr. Cann is well worth it. Gentle, thorough, does great, beautiful work and is an amazing listener so that she can figure out problems and come up with good, solid solutions. I never feel rushed by her and her staff are as genuine and kind as she. She is not cheap, but I've never had a tooth break after she's fixed it and my molar to molar smile looks totally natural. Here's a real personal note: Prior to changing to Dr. Cann, my former husband was a dentist. She had to re-do some of his work where porcelain chipped off and my bite was not right. Dr. Cann's work is a great professional value and her personality is just an extra treat you get at your visits!
About Hygienist: It's obvious that Dr. Cann is very selective when picking her team. They are all top-rate professionals.

Dr. Cann is extremely patient aware and always makes sure
that you are having an easy time of any procedure. She replaced
the old amalgam (darkmetal looking stuff) fillings with tooth colored composite- what a difference! In the process she found
many fillings had decay underneath, and some old
caps & crowns had decay under them as well--the pain from these is what brought me to her in the first place ! She worked hard to save the teeth-which I greatly appreciated. She has a
great staff, insurance was handled well and the hygenist is a
definite worker ! What amazed me the most was how well she
and her assistant, Michelle, worked together ! Michelle is top
notch ! She and Dr. Cann work like a well oiled clock, it's
amazing,really. Very fast too.Sure glad I found her. I hope I can
keep her ! Calling to make an appt. and getting the new address (office has moved)from Google is what introduced me
to this site. I didn't know it existed, but I think it's a great service
for people ! Thanks.

Dr. Cann is expensive. Which would be fine except she's just not very good. The inlay she put on my molar came out after about a year or so. It was supposed to last 20. It never seemed to fit well, there were noticeable gaps where the material met my tooth. I am going to another dentist to have the inlay replaced.
She also had her assistant put sealants on my teeth ato one point, which was annoying. They failed miserably to protect against cavities.
