Read Reviews for Dr. Robert Garber
I went in to get my wisdom teeth taken out. This place has IV anesthesia and let me tell you, that was a god send! I'm so happy I did that instead of local anesthesia. The anesthesia literally took me 1 min till i passed out. And it felt like I had only been asleep for 5 mins. The procedure itself took about 25-30 mins and then the next ten mins was getting the IV and heart monitor set up. The assisting staff were really nice. Dr. Garber is a great surgeon and he gave me all the info I needed before the surgery. He did a swift and detailed job. All I remember before I fell asleep was asking Dr. Garber "woahhh is the room suppose to be spinning??" and he goes "HA for you? Yes! lots of spinning" haha. Great facility. My insurance (Masshealth) covered everything
About Front Desk: The front desk receptionist were always nice and very helpful to me. They did everything in a time manner and got me in and out in a good time.

Dr. Garber is highly professional, yet personable, putting you at ease immediately. I had a tooth pulled and an implant replaced over the course of 6 months. The office is clean and inviting (love the candle in the reception area!). His assistants were wonderful also, making sure you are always comfortable. He always seems to run on schedule, even for appointments later in the day. I was anxious about having these procedures done, but felt very confident with Dr. Garber and his assistants.

I had a wisdom tooth pulled. When I went in for a consultation on all four wisdom teeth, he was cold and didn't communicate the issues clearly. When I asked queestions about the procedure, he danced around the subject and seemed much more interested in getting me to sign papers, give him my money and leave than making me feel comfortable and educated.
I wasn't planning to go back to him but my one tooth started to hurt me and no one else took MassHealth so I went for the 1 tooth.
I called the Quincy office and the receptionsist was very rude but eventually referred me to the Randolph office where Dr. Garber was working that day.
When I got there the receptionsist had a horrible attitude and was very rude and scolded me for coming there when my papers were in Quincy. I suppose I was supposed to know somehow that they didn't have a fax machine like every other office... but, the nurse (or assistant) was very nice. She was the 1 positive part of the experience. She made me feel better but then Dr. G came in and killed that sense of comfort. He had no sense of humor and mocked me when I expressed my anxiety and that I was still sore after the novocain. He wanted to put me to sleep another day but I just dealt with it. Not cool.

I have known Dr. Garber for 48 years......we grew up together. He is the consummate professional! His credentials in oral surgery, etc., are impeccable! His manner was assuring and friendly (what else would I expect from a friend). Where my dentist thought this extraction was going to be a bit complicated, Dr. Garber was able to perform it with skillful confidence and without complication. I am left in virtually NO PAIN as a result! Thank you so much......I'll be back!! Dave Lipof (by the way, Phil Lipof on Channel 7 is my 1st cousin)

Dr. Garber removed an impacted tooth from the roof of my son's mouth. I can't sing his praises loudly enough. Not only was he friendly, kind, considerate and thorough, but also, he took the time to talk directly to my son and answer all his questions (something not all doctors or dentists do). My son was the patient and Dr. Garber took the time to make sure he felt as at ease as possible. The office was immaculate, the staff were all very friendly and helpful and the paperwork was managed efficiently. I would recommend Dr. Garber and his office staff, without hesitation, to anyone in need of oral surgery. I have an irrational fear of dentists caused by unpleasant childhood experiences and he made me feel very comfortable and very secure. My son's experience was very positive.
