Dr. Bertagna has an exceptional bedside manner...he is always cheerful, calm, caring, nurturing, and gentle. He takes the time to listen and explain, and even to get to know his patients outside of their mouths...so to speak. I had two wisdom teeth extracted--a surprisingly tolerable procedure--and Dr. Bertagna talked me through the entire process, always checking in to make sure I wasn't in pain. 3 days after the extractions, he called to make sure I was ok....what a guy! 6 days after the extractions, I had some throbbing pain--which could have easily been minimized with vicadin, but Dr. Bertagna insisted I come in that night--even after he worked that whole day--and he was just as cheerful and caring as though I was his first patient of the day. Both of my extraction sights now feel much better!

Dr. Bertagna is an excite denist. His warm approarch to his work is a welcome. Dr. Bertagna made it very easy to see him and assured me to come back.

Dr. Bertagna put a crown on my tooth.
Months later the tooth kept hurting. He simply told me I was sensitive to hot and cold from the metal in the porcelan crown he explained. I was in so much pain I was disey. I went to my old dentist and he said I needed immediate root canal. He showed me how the tooth was erupting from the puss under it.
He drilled a hole in the tooth to let the puss out. Had I waited a day longer I would have lost my tooth, or worse developed a blood infection. Stay away from Dr. Bertagna. Your health is most important. My old dentis was in the process of retiring and is now retired. His name was Dr. Barnett. The nicest dentist ever.

Dr. Bertagna is always careful to explain everything to you. He also wants to make sure that you are never in pain or uncomfortable when he needs to work on your teeth to do a crown or filling or any other type of dental procedure. He explains the procedure to you before he starts and along the way and is always asking to make sure you are not in pain. He has been my dentist for many years and I wouldn't want to go to anyone else. I highly recommend him.
